There's a vaccine study going on nearby where I live. Pay an average of $750 - really nice for a college student. They say its risk free....is that really true?

Check it out:

Under what circumstances would a state health department come to someones home and burn their belongings? A landlord called them after she found papers from the health dept. to the tenant (that had skipped out on his rent) regarding their TB status and she said the H.D. came out to burn his left belongings. Does this mean this person is in an active stage of TB and a threat to the general public? If not, then can a H.D. legally do something like this without the tenant's consent? I knew the tenant. Should I be concerned about exposure if I had visited with them inside their home? What about his ex-wife and their young children who knew nothing about this? Apparantly he was supposed to be taking meds for it but was sparotic in his taking of his meds and is a raging alcoholic who drinks heavily everyday. Does that effect the effectiveness of the meds?

I open mouth kissed this guy for like a whole 2 seconds and I am FREAKING OUT!

I have heard you can get it through kissing. I have heard that you can't. I don't have any open wounds in my mouth that I am aware of and my gums aren't bleeding but I have heard that you can transfer blood like that if he is bleeding in his mouth and I am bleeding in mine.

He is this guy that is in a fraternity at my college but seemed nice. But was only a 2 second long kiss.

I am freaking out right now. I am 19 years old. I have a phobia of HIV and I am a virgin saving myself for marriage and have never used IV drugs. I am just freaking out because since I have the phobia of the virus, I am definitely worried about a kiss.

Should I worry?????????????????????????????

Ok so I have heard from several people at school about this new book. The Zombie Guide or something? Anyway, it was written by a "Dr. Max Brooks". He is said to have found this virus called "Solanum" which infects a human and turns them into a zombie in 20-24hrs.

So people are really into this and they are all talking about some upcoming invasion? The word is that some one is trying to steal it and release it?

I dont know about all that. When ever i looked up the "virus" it came up with types of the virus that affect plants. Can some one explain this chaos?

Is it possible that a virus (in theory, doesnt have to exist yet) mutate the hell out of you? Like you see in movies like resident-evil and such...

When any Virus dont live outside the living organism and dies as soon as it comes out, how can it transmit itself from person to person through infected needles, blood transfusion and naked sex etc? Further differing blood group of persons would also make difficult to permit change over bodies(infect)?

The area is pink, but in all that I have read it says you should be worried if there is a bump measuring larger then 10mm. Is it common to have redness at the sight of injection?

I am creating an NHS leaflet regarding MRSA on neonatal wards. I would like you to tell me any questions parents of neonatal unit babies with MRSA might have so that i can answer them in the leaflet. I have several already including:
'what is MRSA',
'how does it spread',
'is is dangerous',
'what is the treatment',
'are there any long term effects',
'can i hold/visit my baby'

I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

Phil
