The area is pink, but in all that I have read it says you should be worried if there is a bump measuring larger then 10mm. Is it common to have redness at the sight of injection?

It means you need to wait the full 72 hours and get it read on schedule. It's common as dirt to have redness. We don't read the redness, that's insignificant. We're looking for induration.

You must wait 72 hours to have the test read. At this point, redness is meaningless.

Yeah. Like it says, no bump, no worries.
Everyone reacts to shots and tests differently. Don't worry about it.

I do the same thing every year. I'm allergic to the protein medium that it is in. There has to be an actual bump for it to be positive.

Redness is normal for a day or two. If there is no bump you are negative.
