the best food for the flu is to eat liquids .... chicken broth , chicken soup, lipton soup, not the heavy ones like minstrone , anything with a beef broth , just stick with chicken broths and water to drink or ginger ale. saltine crackers sometimes help as well

Lots of rest and eat ony bland food. It will make it so much easier on your tummy. Steamed rice, toast, chicken broth or any kind of broth, weak tea and LOTS AND LOTS of water. I know it doesn't sound very exciting, but it will help. Now go grab some tea and cozy back into bed. Hope you feel better soon.

I'd stick with clear liquids for the first few days. Stuff you can see thru, like seven up, apple juice, water, jello, chicken broth, and popcicles. Once your tummy settles down, start on toast, pudding, rice, soup, gentle stuff. Then eat as you feel able.

Lots of soups and toast. Nothing heavy that will upset your stomach. Make sure you have some toast or crackers if you are taking your meds. That way your stomach won't be upset

Although chicken soup is great for the sinus and chest congestion, flat ginger ale will be the best for settling upset stomach.

Soups are good. Eggs and toast. Eat something tho.....it will make you feel better and keep up your strength.
