I had answered your another question earlier and I am repeating the same here-

CROCIN is the brand name, made of drug called acetaminophen. It is by far the best medicine for fever and usually will take care of any type or degree of fever. As a thumb rule a child needs some 10 mg per kilogram of bodyweight as a dose and one can give it as frequently as every 4 hourly if needed. The syrup works out to a ready calculation of one 5 ml measure per 10 kilogram body weight and the drops work out to double the number of drops as the body weight in kilograms. for adults and grown up children one tablet evry 4 hour can be taken.

The fever will come down in an hour of giving crocin with sweating. But again after 2/3 hours the fever may go up and you have to repeat the dose. This can be given safely.

However I would suggest to use Crocin as an emergency measure only. And if the fever is continuing you have to show to a general physician to assess the reason or cause for the fever and treat with alternate medication, as fever may come and continue for various reasons. -

In crocin dosages what you have said is a common feature and you can show to your doctor and he will find out the reason for persisting fever and give alternate medication. Please act immediately. -

From what you ask, I guess you are trying to treat her yourself with inputs from total strangers on this site.
The only thing you ought to do is see a doctor and take the necessary treatment which may include putting her under observation in a hospital if necessary.
Without a proper checkup by a doctor don't administer any medicine even if you know that Crocin is used for treating fever.
Don't treat the kid like a guinea pig.

Take her to a doctor. Do not experiment with crocin if the fever is coming back. She may be having viral also. Ayurvedic tablet Sudarshan Ghan Vati or Sudarshan ***** is very effective for any fever. But it is too bitter and the child will not take it. You have to give some thing sweet like syrups.
You can keep wet patti on her forehead. There is Maftal-P tablet to bring down the fever suddenly if it goes too high. Again my caution is not to play with the child's health. Take her to a Doctor.

Well you failed to mention your daughters age. Anyways, you should stop self medicating and visit a doctor. It's always safer to get professional help. A fever is usually a result of some infection.

Do not over dose on the crocin. I think the dosage is pegged to the weight of the kid - that's assuming she is a kid - .

Okay so if your daughter has a 101F Temp. She is 2 years old. What are her symptoms, is she lethargic, body aches, etc. Well you know what. I think the best idea if for you to take her to the doctor. She obvious is sick with something, and it is pretty much impossible to diagnosis over the internet. She most likely has the flu or some other infection of the sort. I would take her to the doctor so he/she can prescribe her something for her symptoms, or an antibiotic. Hope she feels better soon :-)

it has to be a viral or bacterial infection ...crocin will help only for a few hours ... take her to a doc who will give her proper medication .... and ask the paediatrician if it can be cured without any antibiotics as she is too small

depends - what is her age and what is her temperature? If she is younger than 1year please call your doctor for temps higher than 100.1 degrees Fahrenheit if she is older than that call if her temperature exceeds 103 degrees Fahrenheit.
Finally, if the temperature lasts for more than 2 days call your doctor.
However, if she starts showing other concerning signs such as shaking, vomiting, etc. call your doctor immediately!
