i am a 54 year old woman who was relatively fit and healthy (i trekked the hills of peru last year to raise money for breakthrough breastcancer) and was stuck down 6 months ago with menigoccocal septicaemia was in a coma for 19 days on full life support and spent a further 5 weeks in hospital i am doing reasonably well - i have got a few problems but try to remain optimistic but struggle in the main with aching joints and am at present taking 600mg of ibrufen to cope with the distress of my body hurting - does anyone know exactly why the septiceamia does this and any ideas of using a kinder anti-inflamatory?
