One can't take the preventive pills forever since that's too toxic, but there isn't a vaccine. What do they do?

I was admitted into a mental health facility recently and while in admission got infested with lice. At first they blamed it on me and said i brought it in but later found out my roomate that was "treated" for it was the cause. They treated us with some generic over the counter medication shampoo but after i was dicharged I found lice in my hair. They didn't clean the facility proporely or treat us patients proporely. I have long thick hair and am terrified i still have lice and have recently found indications of having them. Having things dry cleaned and having to constantly wash and vaccum and bagging things up for weeks is not only exhausting but extremely expensive and i think the hospital should pay for everything i have had to spend money on. What would you do?

Hi I wonder if anyone could provide more info on this please?I'm due for an endoscopy in a couple of weeks. However, upon doing some reserach on the hospital where it'll be done, I found that it was listed as 'London's dirtiest hotel' in a spot check done recently. I am really worried about the possibility of contractiong something like HIV or Hepatitis C through an endoscopy procedure??So now, I'm as stressed out about this as well as the lump I feel in my throat.
Would appreciate any advice/answers?

I was diagnosed with trich by Planned parenthood. They give me some pills which did not work. However, my father had Metronidazole cream since he was a cancer patient and his doctor prescribed it to him. I heard the cream wasn't as effective as the pills. It all started happening on Tuesday (poor baby), and then there was a reprieve yesterday, then today she threw up just a little bit of lunch. I think she's just about over it, but I was wondering since I've been exposed, how long am I contagious? I have something to go to next Tuesday night and I don't want to get other people sick.
