I have just read about strep on line. It states that once you have been on an antibiotic for 24 hours that you are able to return to work or school. I would think that that does not cover kissing. It would be best until most symptoms are suppressed before any open mouth kissing. Strep is very contagious!

If the fast strep got here up detrimental, they in all probability despatched it in to the lab. they're going to call you day after today whether it particularly is effective. even whether that is not that, a sore throat continues to be contagious. No kissing till at last you sense extra effectual. :)

By the time you see symptoms of any illness, you usually aren't very contagious any more. And if you kissed her before you started having symptoms, she might already be infected and just hasn't started showing symptoms yet. But I would recommend waiting a couple days to swap spit so you don't give her a reason to be mad at her. :P Stick to the hugs and cuddling.

Technically, you're not supposed to be contagious after 24 hours but why take the chance.

I get that all the time. You should wait at least 48 hours of taking the meds. That is about when you cant give it to anyone.

If you are still running a fever yes. If you are not, you could be around her, just not close to her or kissing or sharing drinks with her.
