Hello everyone, what is "3rd tonsil" in throat & why is it bad ? plus, how risky is removing it through a surgery ?caused due to some weird throat infection, developing a fairly large white zit...

i hope i'll be lucky enough to get to have a surgeon read my posting...

I don't want any advice on medicine such as valtrex or oinements known to take away physical pain on the effected area. I understand the human body to be capable of great natural healing. I believe it goes further than we can begin to comprehend. So surely the human body can combat a virus such as herpes, right?

I have to do a project but it's getting kind of hard. I have to select a diseas like the one mentioned up there. Or a genetic disease/ disorder. I have noticed my throat starting to hurt a few days ago... i had white spots on it and i called my doctor and he told me to give it a week to see if i can get rid of it by myself cause i have had them over and over again.... i have plenty of cough drops (vit C) and sore throat spray and even cough med.... what else can i do to help wit the pain and get rid of it fast.....

Me and my boyfriend have white stuff in the back of our throats and are SICK AS HELL with sore throats and flu symptoms. at some point we were both crying. Im going to the doc today, is there anything he can possibly perscribe me that can control this pain any better? Does anything help more than a motrin 800?? maybe Tylenol 3's?? we are simply miserable.
