What is the root of a persistent cold?

I've been sick off and on about 3 times in the last 6 weeks...could I have some kind of infection? What is it?

Wash your hands alot....alot.......and don't touch your face, mouth and nose if you can help it. Colds are caused by coming in contact with germs and then touching your nose, face or mouth and transmitting the germs. Remember to always wash your hands after going to the bathroom, touching door knobs, railings, etc.

Keep your surroundings clean too, wash your bedding, empty trash, etc. You could reinfect yourself if you've got used tissues or other germy stuff lying around. And, of course, see a doctor.
