Yesterday night I found a dead bird on my patio, bleeding from its head all over the pavement. The blood is dried now and the bird is being picked over by some ants and flies, but it's mostly still intact.

How can I get rid of it without exposing myself to any disease like west nile or, however unlikely it is, bird flu? I'm a little creeped out and afraid to touch it for fear of catching some strange disease.

Pubic lice, and head lice keep reoccuring in my household. Only me and my 87 year old mother live in the house. I have wood floors and carpet in the den and living room. After continuously washing my clothes, you can often see signs of lice in the seams and collars of t-shirts. What can I do?

Dr. explained that UTI could be caused by 3 things:prostatis, urine and anal sex. I think the DR. made a more specific diagnosis and I'm not being told.He was seen by a infectious disease specialist also. Doest STD's have to be reported to the health dept.?Would the DR. leave a diagnosis with 3 possibly causes? He was treated in hospital for 3 days. Would it be against the law for the doctor to tell me the diagnose,?I was there while the doctor was examining and questioning about safe sex.

I STRICTLY think that is OUTRIGHT disgusting that someone doesn't wash their hands after urinating because germs from their genital region can cause such illnesses as meningitis, E-coli, hepatitis, etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, I understand that bird flu is quite deadly, but WNV isn't a walk in the park (and could mutate into something more deadly). So why aren't scientists freaking out about the WNV becoming the next pandemic? Why is it more likely that the bird flu will be? They're both viruses with the same mutation abilities.

I've recently contracted MRSA and need to limit exposure to bacteria. My roommate insists on blowing his nose but not washing his hands before unloading the dishwasher, and doesn't clean up after himself very well. What should I do? (He thinks I'm being "nit picky" and blaming him for my infection.)
