I was a little paranoid about being diabetic since my grandmother died from it so i did a little test. I urinated on a container and then left it outside for a bit and when i came back the container was full of ants even after i rinced the container (without soap) the ants kept coming back to it. Am i diabetic?

The nurse at work made me eat peanut butter and drink cranberry juice. I was already trying to eat chocolate chip cookies after I checked it. I am not a diabetic but I knew my pressure was ok and that was the only other thing I could think to do is check my sugar.

I am a type 2 diabetic. Before eating I will typically be between 85 and 100 and 1-2 hours after eating a healthy meal my level will peak at 180-200. I thought the ideal was to stay under 140??

I have had type 1 diabetes for 27 years. Whenever I have a low blood sugar episode (where my blood sugar drops below 60 or so), after I recover I feel obliterated for the rest of the day or until I am able to sleep it off.

I am so tired and sleepy I can hardly function. Does anyone know why this is? You would think that after my sugar returns to normal I would feel better, but often I feel worse.

Thanks!

Well my friend at school gets really bitchy lately; and she blames it on her diabetes. And its getting really annoying hearing her ***** 24/7, like the friends we hang with we bring her places and she gets cocky and more bitchy, and some of her friends are about to go up to her and tell her off.But i know its not good but what else could be do, we have confronted her before?

absorbed throughout the body and not just the injection site, is that correct? Just how do these shots work. and when does a controlled diabetics BS return back to normal range. MY BS has elevated since friday and thats the day I had the shot in my knee and I havent been normal range since. I think that I should have been told that this could happen ahead of time, I wouldn't have had it. I am still in pain anyway. So I don't know if it has helped and I think it makes me naseous .

For about a month now, i've had what i thought was a viral flu (told by the doctors it was). But a month seems just a little too long. I've been dizzy, haven't really been able to eat too much, peeing ALOT (every 30 min or so) and having an on and off low fever. I'm also very congested, and the doctors thought it might also be sinusitis. I'm worried something more along the lines of diabetes... or pregnancy???? eeek. I took a pg test today and it was negative, and i'm also on my period so i highly doubt that it's pregnancy. I have slight anxiety feelings every now and then also that started when the sickness started. Doctors also tested for a thyroid problem... negative. Does this sound like something serious like diabetes or anything like that?? =(

im suspicious that i might have diabetes. for the past 4 days, iv been very hungry, none stop, iv noticed iv been urinating alot more then normal, i feel very weak, tired but not tired enough to sleep, and depressed. Im 17 and im worried i could be getting Type 1 diabetes.

Should i go for a blood test and find out or do i have something else? i do have diabetes in the family. both my aunts have it and my grandad does.

I have a 3 year old son showing signs of diabetes, excessive thirstyness, tired all the time and constant hunger. I myself am hypoglycemic and I had gestational diabetes while pregnate. My father has type 2 and my maternal grand mother also has type 2. I checked his glucose level at home after daycare and it was 126 and 2hours after dinner it was 111. I have been told for his age the average is 70-110. Do you think I should have him tested by the doctor for diabetes?
