Not yet, but perhaps very soon. A recent discovery has some scientists believing they will have a cure for type 1, or juvenile diabetes within the next 5 to 10 years. I heard a discussion about this yesterday on the news.

No word on the progress for type 2

Over 18 million people in the United States have diabetes, which is the leading cause of kidney failure. In fact, almost 45% of all kidney failure cases are caused by diabetes.
THERE ARE SOME FOOD PRODUCTS TO BE AVOIDED.
They are Sugar, Sweets, Jaggery, Soft drinks, Proprietary drinks etc. The latter two contain nearly 25g of sugar per bottle of 250 ml. Similarly honey shows nearly 5.2 gm of various kinds of sugar per 100ml. Hence these are not recommended. Elimination or restriction of some other items depends on the presence of associated diseases and /or complications of diabetes

No Diabtetes is not they have not found a cure for Diabetes.

It is not curable. Some days are better than others. With the right diet, exercises and medication, than it is no longer a decease.

no not curable but manegable....
very soon with stem cell studies pancreatic islets wud b regrown n placed .. research is going on ...
avoid salt ....
more carb food
more sugars
go for high protien diet ...
physical work
