and we live in Rochester ny zip:14606,i need to know if anyone knows of a place where I can learn how to give her the insulin shot ,she is afraid to give the shots to herself,but i cannot find anyplace to learn,can someone please HELP US Thank You

The doctor who diagnosed her should be able to show you both when you go in the office together. You should NOT give a shot to anyone without a doctor or a nurse showing you how, because you could hit a nerve and cause nerve damage.

You don't need any special training. Ask a nurse at your or your mom's doctor's office and they can show you all you need to know in a couple of minutes.
If you don't want to do that, check your yellow pages for a diabetic treatment center. They'd be happy to show you.

call the human services in ur area maybe they can help but this shot is a simple shot to give just under the skin on the arm but call ur moms dr and ask them they might can tell you on what to do at this point

1. dont be alarmed you can help by watching what she eats
no starches or sugar
2. help her with the meds.
3. shots can be given at a 45degree angle arm / leg
