^ If you must have sweets try a sugarless lollipop, I know it doesn't sound like much, but it will keep you busy for a while.
Measure out the amount your allowed to have and put it in small zip lock bags and only eat the one small bag instead of the whole thing. I know this is hard, but remember you're doing this for your health. Good luck.

My daughter is a diabetic and has the same problem.
Look in the store for the sweets you like and see if they have it with "No Sugar Added" - - - Also, there are quite a few yummy things out there that are "Sugar Free"
Do NOT give into your temptations - being a diabetic, you KNOW the consequences - Be safe and try the NO SUGAR ADDED or SUGAR FREE goodies.

There are plenty of sweets available on the market that are sugar free. If your really interested in saving your body from pain and possible death, then I advise you to find them. Ask a diabetic website,or enquire from your sweetshop. Good Luck!

if you are going to eat sweets, then eat healthy sweets. sometimes i get the munchies (after a puff or two), and i usually don't eat sweets, but with the munchies . . . i get a strong craving, so i eat fresh fruits and dried fruits and the occasional hershey bar with almonds, but i have learned to stop with the ice cream and butterfingers and donuts and gummi fruits and pop tarts and things like that, so . . . think healthy sweet - it's out there. i'm not overweight or out of shape, either.

You could try healthy substitutes for some of your sweets, like fruit, or dried fruits. Also, there is a natural herbal sweetener called stevia you can use, it tastes much better than the chemical artificial sweeteners.

protein the anti hunger drug. Always have a healthy snack available. dont do carbs by themselves without protein and try to limit them. No refined carbs at all. The longer you stay away from them and sweets the less you'll crave them, Try splenda.best of luck its not easy

Sweetie, I have the same problem and I am 61 years old. I have to try and eat fruit, particulary fresh pineapple or something like to keep from going CRAAAAZY!! But I still occasionally eat too much of something sweet. It is very, very, hard for people like us.

well, it happens the same to me so I buy the ones without sugar and chocolates without sugar and when i feel like eating a normal one, i tell myself that I am very dumb as I am poisoning myself. Hope it helps you. You have to love yourself a lot so whenever you want to eat sweets you must think you are harming yourself.
