I want to make sure i am doing things right until then with my eating and all (by the way i am in no way shape of form overweight). Does anyone have any good recipes i can try or know what foods i can and can't eat...? I looked on the internet, but they never jsut give you a list of the good and bad foods. Help me...

I have read that in type 2 diabetes, the symptoms can be virtually non-existent, so how can you tell?

I can have an average blood sugar level of somewhere in the 80's when I go to bed, only having a VERY light snack that night, and wake up the next morning and my blood sugar level will be around 100 to 110. I KNOW that the snack that I ate didn't raise my blood sugar almost 20 points and keep it there over the course of the night. Does ANYONE else have a problem with their morning numbers beeing high?

it's equal to 35 servings of M&M's 945 grams of sugar, 315 grams of fat, 210 grams of sat fat and 7350 calories. I need to know if there will be any complications other than the calories. I didn't think that drinking water could kill you...so I'm just checking. It's for a wager.

I started taking Chromium supplements about 2 months ago.
The form is 'chromium Picolinate' 200 micro grammes per tablet.
I started with 1 tablet per meal and am now up to 3 tablets per meal.
The results are not conclusive.
Is is safe to up the doseage to 4 per meal to see if there is a beneficial result on the lowering of Blood Sugar levels ?

Has anyone had any experience with Chromium supplements, that might help Diabetics control their Blood Sugar levels ?

Thank you for any suggestions
Naresh

Noni juice is a dramatic food. Someone says it can be used in the treatment of diabetics. Is it true? Is there any journal or research published?

Do you or someone you know have diabetes? What were the symptoms before you were diagnosed? I have been urinating very frequently lately. And it doesn't feel like a UTI because i have had one before. This time when i urinate it is a lot at a time. Rather than the constant urge to urinate, and there is nothing. I don't drink an excessive amount of water, maybe 12-15 ounces a day. But i have been home for one hour, and went to the bathroom three times already. Also, if i don't eat for a few hours i feel nautious, and sometimes i feel like i am going to faint if i go too long. And i have been sleeping about 10 hours a night, which is abnormal, i used to naturally sleep 8 hours. I have no idea if this has anything to do with... anything really. I don't know a lot about diabetes. But i am concerned. Is this something to be concerned about? Or am i being a worry wart.?

Recently, I have started peeing alot and feeling more tired (I can't help falling asleep in school, in the car, whenever I sit down). Anyone know what this means? I think I may be Diabetic, but I'm not sure (I've been for a blood test, and I get the results in a week..!)
I'm not sure if one is born with Diabetes or if you develop it...
My parents think I may be anaemic as well.
Please Help !
