Let's see, NO calories means no carbs--so it can't be because blood sugar INCREASED. What could it be?
Somehow, the glucose uptake into the cells has been obstructed even further that usual, leaving more glucose in the blood stream, so ya get a higher blood sugar reading because the glucose has nowhere to go. It's like driving on a freeway with all the exits closed. You just go around in circles. This is a BAD thing. Switch to water and not tap water, something less toxic.

Cinnamon regulates glucose, and has a polyphenol compound called MHCP that mimics insulin and activates cell receptor sites. A quarter teaspoon twice daily makes a difference. Best of luck.

Because all artifical sweeteners contain wood alcohol, which is half the carbs as sugar, but they're still there.

I didn't know that until my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. Our doctor let us know that little fact.

Better check what else you are eating. Pop or Cyrstal Light with nothing in it will not affect your blood sugar. Check something else that you ate.

Good luck.
