I got a bad chest infection a few nights ago. I saw the dr and everything was normal. It was normal being sick when suddenly two days ago I started coughing up some blood. I woke up this AM and hacked basically lots of blood. I went back to the dr today and they did a chest x-ray, which came back fine, except they found a few abnormal spots that look like little round things. Could this be nodules, or the beginnings of lung cancer....and thats why I am bleeding? The Dr. wasnt concerned but any guesses>>

By the way, never smokes and Im a 23 yr old guy

...defying the odds. Can you please send me your story? I.E. Who you are, how you cope, what do you think keeps you alive & well, and anything else you want to add? I would really like to offer one of my best friends, who was just diagnosed with aggressive, incurable cancer, some HOPE and positive energy from others in her same situation. I will take your stories and compile them into a book for her to read when she is down. I thank you in advance for your help.

Since he and our daughter are divorced, we aren't privy to his consultations with his oncologist and they only tell us what they hear and they are telling us it is endocarcinoma. I can't find that on the internet. Is this a cancer and since he has only a few weeks to live he wants the children, ages 8 and 11 to be with him until the end. We worry about how the disease will progress and whether the kids should be around to see terrible suffering or worse outbursts of rage from the pain. Can I get some insight as to what is about to happen. It has spread throughout his organs and into his brain but as of today he says he has no outward symtoms. His doctors says it probably started in his pancreas of liver.

One of my best friends has been diagnosed with breast cancer and I wanted to put together a basket of stuff that would be helpful to her during her chemotherapy (her cancer is aggressive & incurable, so chemo will be harsh). Can you please make some recommendations based on your experience? I know there are many side-effects, both physically & emotionally, so if you could give me some insight on what would help, I would really appreciate it. i.e. inspirational books, products for skin, etc...Thanks for your help!!

I have recently been diagnosed with MM, stage III. Awaiting results of further testing. Wide excision, snb, and lnd performed. Lymph nodes in snb found positvie, in lnd clear. Pet ordered, nodule found in right groin (of lnd). I was looking for someone in the area that I may be able to connect with, and talk to. I am opting for interferon treatments. Scared. Would like support. Would like to give support as well.
