i had a ultrasound done 5 yrs ago and i just found out that i had a 13 mm endometrial thickening , i was wondering what that ment . i know a normal is 5mm . i was just wondering does endometrial thickening of the uterus @ 13mm is the form of cancer? its been 5 yrs and i just found out now . and well i am quit scared at this point because i heard that if it goes untreated it can turn into endometrial cancer. and 5 yrs is a long time , so please anyone out there who had heard of this please give me some advice . i do go to my gyn 2morrow to find out my results of my new ultrasounds. i do have a tumor in my uterus the size of an orange its 7cm x 5 cm . and an enalrged uterus the size of a 12-14 wk preg. so any advice would greatly help me .......... i thank you all who answers with good advice . please no smart azz remarks please !!!

Tomorrow must seem like a long time away to you tonight and I am so sorry for that. There is no answer tonight - honestly. What you will know for sure is what the Doctor tells you tomorrow. first of all, sorry to your loss...I had one at 22, its frightening...with reference to the endometrial strip, I have not have been given any thought...i comprehend what the endometrial strip is yet I have not have been given any clue what could extend it. Google it..extra desirable than probable you will locate something approximately it. stable luck hun!
