I saw a TV commercial about “Virus Can Cause Cancer”. They showed an internet address. I forgot what it was. Something with “tell everybody”. Does anybody know this address?

I had a mammogram done, followed by an ultrasound- when I was finished the radiologist asked to see me, he said that it was a cause for concern because he pulled up my mammogram from two years earlier and it should that there was something in the same location, but a lot smaller, because of my age at the time, it was never brought to my attention. Now they want to do a biopsy to determine what it is. Is it possible that it is cancer and it has been growing for the last two years?

My mom was recently diagnosed with Endometrial cancer (cancer in the uterus) so she is having surgery to remove her uturus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, lymph nodes, etc.

Luckily they caught it in stage 1 and the doctor at the time said that since it was caught so early he beleived there was a near 100% chance to get rid of it all.

This is all at the Mayo clinic, perhaps the greatest hospital(s) in the world. I began reading up on endometrial cancer so I could know what to expect for her, and in it its saying if caught in stage one, you have about a 5 year survival rate. How can this be?? Does this honestly mean my mom is dieing in 5 years or so, even though they caught it right away and the doctor beleives there is a near 100% chance to get rid of it?

Thanks for any insight on this matter.

i have several moles all over my body, some of which are growing, some that just all of a sudden showed up. how can i tell if they are cancerous? what are the signs they are? i learned about it in school, but i've forgotten. i have an appointment to see a dermatologist next week, but i'm still scared, especially of the spot that jsut showed up! and yes, cancer runs in both sides of my family.

I have a terrible fear about getting cancer. I hate the word cancer. I always think that i have it and obsess about it. I've seen family members and friends die from this terrible disease. I feel like a sitting duck. A apologize to the ones who really do have it and pray for your recovery. I know I just need to live my life and whatever will be will be but it is so hard not to think about it. I'm only 37 years old and hate that i sit and think about it. I am taking anti-depressants also. Is there anyone else with this terrible fear. It seems like cancer is spreading like wild fire, is it just me that thinks this way.

Stage 1 breast cancer. But if chemo causes nausea, poss. vomiting, how can you gain weight, except that I understand you don't have much energy either, therefore, not working out.
