tell them not to give up and keep all negative people away from them. our son had cancer and the doctor told us from the beginning that 75%of the cure was mental and i truly believe it. i never let him see me cry and i kept people away that couldn't just go in and act like it was a normal day. he didn't need anyone around telling him he looked like death warmed over and that they felt sorry for him. God healed my child and he is 9 years cancer free. chemo didn't help and the Dr. sent him home to die, that's why I say God healed my child and his determanation to live and our love and support.

Don't give up. Cancer today isn't the disease that it was sixty years ago. Just yesterday I had a bad cancer no my nose. it was taken care of and will be as good as new in a week or two.
I've had prostate cancer for many years. My doctors tried various treatments over long periods, finally it's under control. Long time ago cancerous polyps were found in my colon. No problem, they're gone now.
The best advice that I would give you is , first don't give up. Next trust your doctors, be prepared for some disappointments, don't be afraid of a little pain or inconvenience, remember that many thousands before you have had the disease and have beaten it.

Well if you're talking about words to help them heal themselves, and believe in the power of positive thought, they can say,
"My body is healthy, I am disease and illness free" They should say it at least 25 times a day and if they can envision a warm glowing healing light surrounding their body, that helps too.
I say this to myself everyday while I shower and other than the occassional cold, I'm rarely ill.
If you mean what you could say to someone, try, "I am so sorry you are going through this, I know you will get better, call me if you need ANYTHING."

"Healing" can have several meanings.
To many, death of the physical body is a healing. It gives them the freedom to experience their new, perfect, eternal body.
It is important to them to know that they don't have to fight it. THat you will support them in whatever they choose. THey can rest and release or they can fight it and you will still love them.

Loving touch can be very healing.
ANd, apparently, you aren't a religious person, but CHristians believe that CHristians live forever in Heaven.
I tell my beloveds that they will never die. "You will never die. You will never die." Over and over. And to comfort myself I tell myself the same thing, that they will never die.
