My surgeon sent my to a good oncologist to get on tamoixfin. He said to me have your gyn give you refills because I don't have to see you anymore because your cancer is the type that there is a 99% survival rate. I have non invasive cancer. With calcifactions that are malignant. They also found that I have atypical hyperplasia. I had a lumpetomy and radiation. Do you think I should be watched by a oncologist or not?

We are told that cigarette smokeing causes Lung Cancer, Ingrown toenails ETC. Granted. its probibly not good for you, as with any drug. I started somkeing when I was 10 and am now 67 and dont have any of these problems. QUESTION: WHY AM I NOT DEAD FROM THE CIGARETTES ? i ASK MY DOCTOR AND ALL HE CAN SAY IS: THE STUDIES SHOW.........ETC .Please, not the textbooks or study says....answers..

i've been getting these weird sores on the side of my tongue, and they hurt and so i looked up some pictures and they look like cancer. im a teenager, and it says that it usually occurrs in older people. what the hell?

That is what the doctor said after finding out I cured my cancer. It boggles my mind that someone that treats cancer for 25 years just did not want to know. Instead I got an hour long lecture about cancer statistics while other patients waited.

they sent him home today with no plan for chemo, they took out his port because it was infected, he is bloated in the abdoman and legs/ankles. is this the early signs of the end for him????

I feel that nature is to blame for that healthy people who take good care of themselves get cancer. For example, there are healthy people who don't smoke, and yet some get lung cancer. Or how about healthy women who get diagnosed with breast cancer.

This is nature deficiency.

How can 2nd hand smoke kill you? and is it really worse than 1st hand? I mean, its not like ur actually putting the cigarette in your mouth. I live in a house where my dad smokes, hes not aloud to smoke in the house, only in the garage. Do you think it can hurt me?

Seriously....I am 1 woman and I don't have a voice........I had a friend you told me this years ago at a gathering we were at.........he knew this first hand because he was a chemist and knew of the cure and its properties.......I know my mouth fell open when he told me this.......
So naturally I asked him , Why isn't this known to everyone now.?..Do you know how many lives will be saved from dying and suffering etc....?
HE BEGGED ME TO NOT SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE HE COULD LOSE HIS JOB.....I promised, but I am still disturbed by this.......He said that the world doesn't know because so many people and companies make too much money off of this....I believe him.......Why he would feel the need to tell me this, I don't know......I mean from doctors, lab techs, all of the pharmaceuticals make money from the meds, the appointments, chemo, and all the other forms of prolonging this deadly disease....He passed away,,,,that is why I say this now....I wish I had proof........!

i was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I have not worked in months, therefor i fell behind in my car payments; have no home to call my own; and is really financially in a bind. My husband is no help to me. He walked out over a year ago. I've really tried to stay afloat. It is really hard. I just recently was told there are more masses, therefor putting me in the IV stage, which is the last. I just received approval for ssi and medicaid. But I am so far behind on finances, i don't know what to do or where to turn. I appreciate the help I've received, SSI approval but it is a shame that it had to come so late (waiting bump my condition from stage III to IV. Please someone help me out of this hole. Direct me to the nearest organization for assistance for cancer patients and their financial hardships.

though the "spot" absorbed the glucose tracer which normally indicates a malignant tumor..doc said that none of my bloodwork indicated rises in levels of whatever it is that indicates presence of cancer, so, there was a discrepancy,, google says that petscans sometimes give false positives.. reason i had the petscan is that i had a catscan in sept. 2005 for a seperate issue, and had a followup this sept. and they saw this spot that wasn't there last year. so they ordered the petscan. i know this question is long and drawn out but has anybody else experienced this?...thx..

I'm only 12, but my mom is an RN and has been for more than 25 years, So a lot of it rubbed off, and I don't want to ask my mom, so here goes...I have Hypoglycemia and I recently heard that one of the problems with it is Heart Palpitations, I have done more reading on it, and know almost all of the symptons by heart thanks to my mother, but I have every symptom but 2 of them, so, could I have Heart Palpitations? I have been looking a lot of medical reports up online, and almost every symptom matches perfectly, but...I even have Low blodd Pressure, (And of course Low blodd sugar), But I'm not fat or starving, why am I getting these problems?? One more question, I have horrible pain that shoots up my right knee, I fell out of a tall tree a while ago, and it still hurts like there's no tomorrow, Why does it hurt so bad? It's been hurting so bad, that lately I havn't been bending it nearly at all, I know that's not good for it, but it doesn't hurt as bad if I don't bend it..Please Help me!
