Ha Ha, lighten up. Yes, I am sorry you have not died from cigarette smoking. Truely I need to tell you that even if you dont die from it you smell so bad that you family hates it when you come over. We have told you to smoke because it was bad for you, but really it's because we cant stand the stench. Now stop or stay away!

My grandmother is 81, shes been smoking since she was also 10. We just found out on fri. that she has lung cancer. I guess some poeple jsut get it sooner than others. My father was 56 when he died of lung cancer. We always though mt garndmother was invincible because here she was 80 y.o. and no cancer. We always called the bull. But what now? All we have tolook forward to is her being in pain and nothing we could do about it. So as for you, I would suggest quitting. Cause younever know when the doctor is going to say, "live life like you are dying, cause you are." I fight with my husband almost on a daily basis because he smokes, but he tells me the more I nag the more he does. Well when we got the info about my g-ma, that changed his attitude real fast. Doyouhave children, grandchildren? Do you want themto see you suffer, caus you will, and they wiil see it. Good Luck and God Bless.

Well, the question is what is better for you now: to continue smoking, or to consider a possibility of quitting it. If you continue to smoke, it is highly probable that you will die from stroke pretty soon. In order to quit, you must stop drinking coffee and start to use peppermint instead of tobacco first. After a few month of doing so, you can gradually lessen the quantity of peppermint smoking, meaning lessening both the time you smoke and the quantity of peppermint used. In some cases a person can die from a heart attack if this is overdone. But I recommend to discuss a possibility of a transition to peppermint smoking first with your doctor. The "peppermint" stage can take about a year, depending on your condition. You have to use great care not to smoke before going to the bed, once this can be especially dangerous. And, maybe, you should see a toxicologist once in a while? Wish you all the best!

The current theory is that there has to be a genetic predisposition toward cancer as well as some sort of environmental factor. Chences are, your genetics don't lean toward it. But, if you smoke enough despite apparently not having the genetics for it, you probably will get either lung or mouth cancer.

Genetically, you're probably just more resistant to its ill effects than some other people. Maybe you have enough positive health factors in your life (good diet, exercise, fresh air) that you've counteracted the carcinogenic effects of the cigarettes.
