Yes, it is very true. There are cures for just about any disease and sicknesses and they are all natural cures. Natural meaning certain herbs, fruits, vegetables and vitamins. The FDA won't approve it because the pharmaceutical companies, doctors, all research programs like Cancer Society will lose tons of money and the work force will be very minimal. Lots of people would have no jobs. The FDA and the Federal Trade Commission keeps everything one big secret. I've read part of the book called, Natural Cures by Kevin Trudeau. You won't believe what goes on inside the politcal world..it is disgusting.
Cure for cancer has been around for ages. They just won't and refuse to reveal it.
Medicines, radiations, chemos, etc. all cost money and they won't risk losing money. That is what it comes down to no matter how you look at it..money, money, money and lots of it.

In reality here, scientists are just a smidgen away from perfecting an innoculation against ONE type of cancer. This story was on the news just last year. Unfortunately there are many forms out there, and just like any other disease, it mutates and changes over the years.
Also, have you never wondered why dentist's kids never need dental care? My college roommate married a Dental Surgeon. He told me directly that all dentists treat their kids teeth by removing most of the peaks off the teeth, leaving no places for food to get stuck. That and regular flouride treatments mean that their kids go their whole lives with their own adult teeth.
And did you know that a workable hydrogen car engine has been available since the 30's? But that oil companies bought the patent just so that it would never see the light of day. We would never have had our first oil crisis if this engine had been put into production then. And how many wars would that have negated? The oil companies are still running the world (and wrecking it) for profit.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. I just read a heck of a lot, and talk to a lot of people. In my life I have come across a lot of interesting information that makes you wonder more than a little bit.
To the story that started this I say...I don't believe it either. As I have already stated, there are too many cancers out there that act differently one from another. One blanket treatment for all seems impossible.

This idea goes counter to what we know about the natural selfishness of man as well as the ability of people to keep secrets. It is the kind of secret that would be impossible to keep because someone out there would want the fame, recognition, and yes, money, that would go along with presenting the cure for cancer. Add to that the fact that cancers are not all the same and that many cancers change even while they are being treated, and I say that this is very unlikely.
Consider that in the case of the Watergate scandal only a few men had to keep their mouths shut, and the case would have gone away, but they could not keep a secret even knowing that telling meant going to prison for many of them. How do you think many doctors, including some that really want to help people, could keep such a monumental secret over the course of many years?
Having read many different books about cancer written by many different authors, my opinion is that a lot of doctors have and focus on pieces of the puzzle to solving cancer. I believe the answer is hidden more because they have yet to see how all those pieces fit together, but the answer lies somewhere in the immune system and the ways it is both compromised and enhanced. Since this is so complex, it isn't as simple as identifying a single cause or a single cure.

I really hope that you mean well, but this is not a smart thing to say. There are so many different kinds of cancer that it's just not possible that there is one cure for it. I have breast cancer. I can assure you that medicines for say lung cancer or a brain tumour wouldn't do anything for me.
I have been fighting this cancer for two years now. I have to say I'm not very happy that you are sharing this story so that other gullible people can spread it around. It's not nice for cancer patients to hear stories like these.
Even if it were true, what's the use of torturing people with it since you have no useful information whatsoever?

Yes I know there are many more cures for cancer than the conventional ones currently in use. But sorry there is no conspiracy. The true problem is human nature. If you told everyone you could about a cure for cancer, no one would believe you and in fact they will think you are a crackpot. There are things that have been waiting in the wings for 20 years and still have not made it to human trials. Red tape, lack of resouces and funding, the FDA, and just a lot of inertia in the system can stretch approval time to infinity.

I'm sorry, I have trouble believing in what you are saying.
What you say goes against human nature. It goes against logic. If the cure it out and has been for many years, don't you think it would have leaked already? We're talking a large group of scientists and doctors and researchers and such. Plus, if a family or loved one had cancer, they would surely receive the cancer treatment, thus widening the circle of people who are aware. Don't you think ONE compassionate individual would come out and tell everyone?
Plus, not everyone in the industry is out to make money. Some researchers go into cancer research because their loved one has cancer and they want to find a cure. They would not find the cure just to keep it secret even if they know it will save countless lives.

Do you really believe if this were true that no one would use it? Seriously, the so called money hungry doctors and clinics could make a fortune by giving this treatment and the first drug company to patent this would never have to make another drug again, they would have so much money they wouldn't have to! Come on! Besides if it exists why not put it on the Internet anonymously, everything else can be found there.

$ There is something called ethics and another thing called selfish desires.
A company with ethics will provide the cure as quickly as possible; they are God fearing, But then again, the selfish desire people will hold out for the biggest bucks for their cure. The problem with this is 80% of people who die if cancer are too poor for the expensive cure.

Cancer is not a one disease of one type.
Yes, they have cured people of cancer. But, they can't stop someone from getting cancer any cancer until they know what causes it. No more can they detect at what point cancer starts growing.
I've also heard cows fly. Think about it.

Same story as the one where a guy bought a car and after driving it for a month on the same tank of gas he realized that he had gotten over 100 miles to the gallon. Soon afterwards some mysterious men from the manufacturer showed up at his house and told him his car had to be recalled for safety reasons and was given a brand new car (which of course now just gets 20 miles to the gallon). The story goes that car manufacturers have the technology to produce 100 mile per gallon cars but don't because of the oil companies.
Also reminds me of the story where a man was told by someone who worked inside NASA in the 1960's who knew for a fact that the US had faked the moon landing. But unfortunately before it could be proven the man died. Maybe this guy was the same one who told you about the cure for cancer.
All urban legends and conspiracy theories.
