There are two types of bone cancer that you should investigate. They are the most common.

1. Osteosarcoma is the most frequent type. It occurs in young people between the ages of ten to twenty five. It is often found in the bones of the legs, but can occur anywhere in the body.

2. Ewings Sarcoma is rare. It is also a childhood cancer that arises in the bones or the soft tissue of the pelvis, thigh, or trunk of body. It usually occurs in young people between the ages of ten and twenty.

Treatment for both types of sarcoma depend upon the stage of disease (how widespred it is) and the grade of the tumor (how different the cells look from a normal cell) Treatment options include chemotherapy, surgery, and radiotherapy.
