I was just curious if it is healthier/better wearing a bra that is without the underwire versus one that does.

I'm wondering if this has ever been looked at. Specifically the material the seatbelt is made of (nylon), the materials' exposure to other auto-making materials (chemicals, plastics, metals), and the possibility of its' connection to breast cancer.

Just thought of this as I was driving down the road, trying to solve the world's problems.

For sufferers of ovarian cancers and physicians/oncologists :

Why are not all ovarian tumors tested for presence of the estrogen and progesterone receptors (ER and PR) ? Or are they (please tell where you are from) ?

It seems like total aberration to me not to test, since women with ovarian cancer are almost systematically put on hormone replacement therapy (premarin) after total hysterectomy ! My best friend, who has ovarian cancer, insisted to have this test done at my suggestion, and guess what : her tumor was positive for both !!! By chance, she wasn't taking the prescribed premarin...

How do you know if you need addition colonics? If your diet does not consist of a lot red meat- but instead, fruits vegatables and grains, should'nt this be good internal cleansing? My patient had a colonic, not much was elimitated. Later when she had to eliminate, there was just bile. She was told she needed additional cleansings, thats is the reason why there waas no actual stool.

This is the story. My grandpa has smoked for nearly 50 years. He was a heavy smoker, but he stopped smoking 6 months ago. He began with some weird chest and back pains in August/September. He said food tasted different. Doctors made him some studies but really didn't find out anything. But he began with some lung problems so he finally went with a pneumologist in November. He ordered some chest X-ray, and he said "they were bacterias". He had some antibiotics. He felt Ok for 2 weeks but after that he got worse. He wasn't eating and had several problems with breathing. So the doctor made him CT scan and a biopsy. Biopsy failed to show cancer. He went with another doctor, more studies were done, but failed to show what he had.

A few months ago my nan was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She recieved an operation in which we were told the cancer was removed. About 5 weeks or so later she started getting pains and when she was finally seen in hospital, she was told that the cancer was in the lymph node and they couldn't operate on it.

What i would like to know, 100% truthfully, is what treatment options there are for her now and what the success rate for them are.

Please, no false hope or doom and gloom. I just need to know so i can stop imagining the worst.

Thank You.

If you did know know somebody with cancer were they in excruciating pain when they died? I yet to get diagnosed with bowl cancer, and if I had it I would be too scared to go through an operation that big. If I were diganosed with the disese, I dod not know if i would be scared or jump for joy. Jump for joy knowing that I will be going home to glory, but scared because I do not want to die in agony. I would be awsom to die in your sleep and wake up in Heaven. So Christians is cancer in the last stages imbarable, and so painful you cannot wait to die? Because if it is I do not want cancer, but if you only get tired and that is it bring it on. What do you say chrisitans would you get treated for cancer or leave it and go home within a few years? Hard decission.
