I'm wondering if this has ever been looked at. Specifically the material the seatbelt is made of (nylon), the materials' exposure to other auto-making materials (chemicals, plastics, metals), and the possibility of its' connection to breast cancer.

Just thought of this as I was driving down the road, trying to solve the world's problems.

seems the world has more important problems to face.
look at it this way: the seatbelt could save your life in a vehicle accident or prevent worse injuries vs an unknown risk of breast cancer.
why ponder the unknown, when seat belts are proven to save lives??!!

Not only is the seatbelt not in contact with your skin but nylon is so safe that it is used in some medical implants.
