I am fairly newly diagnosed with lymphoma and I am looking for others who have been through the whole cancer journey. (It doesn't matter what other kinds of cancer, but I'm a man, so I can relate more to men)... I would like to find some online support groups, or cancer survivors websites, or just someone who has been through it who can share with me their experience. I just want to be able to read (and be inspired by) others who have gone through this horrible disease.

Do any of you know someone with cancer who has an inspirational website about their story that wouldn't mind a stranger peaking in on for moral support???

I would very much appreciate any help as reading something with a positive outcome will really help me through the LONNNNNG days in the hospital.

My mother in law is getting ready to start radiation treatments and she insists she will still be able to watch our son full time. I am not sure it is a good idea but don't know much about radiation. Can someone tell me more about radiation and whether it will be safe for either one of them for her to continue babysitting. My son is 21 months

What is your symptoms or what was your symptoms before you were diagnosed? I am almost 38 years old, and in 2005 early unexpectantly got red diarea which was very unusual and filled the bowl with it, and it left me feeling unwell for a few days after. It happened again 3-4months later the same red diarea filling the bowl, and it happed again 3-4 months after that too,so the whole of 2005 every few months a experienced that. The specialist told me it was not normal and recomended a colonoscopy. By the time I went to make an appointment the computors were shut down. And I forgot all about it. The other day my stuff had dark red blood in most of the stuff, and it looked like dark red poo. My stuff has changed shape, and has gotten thinner. I am getting anemic and find it hard to walk up stars without feeling fatigued. My Heamatocrit is low. I have a feeling that there is something seriously wrong. If am am not constepated, then I am pooing out stuff with dark red blood. I will be getting

On Jan. 2, 2007 I had my Gallbladder removed. It had multiple stones in it, causing tons of pain. After the surgery the pain did not go away. I lived with it until 4 days ago when I just could not take it anymore. Went to the ER and they did a MRI & discovered I had two stones blocking my bile duct. They did a ERCP to remove the stones. I was sent home 2 days later. I am still in pain. The pain is inbetween my ribs..right below my breast bone. Sometimes it is a contracting pain that takes my breath away. Before the ERCP the doctor said I could develope Pancreatitis due to having this procedure. They are aware of my pains. They told me to come to the ER if I start throwing up. I have not been throwing up. I feel like the doctors are not taking me seriously. I am scared. If anyone has had this before please answer this. Thanks for all your help.

My mother has pancreatic cancer which has spread to other parts of her body. I have read that raising the body pH to an alkaline level can cure cancer. But after doing a internet search about this, I have also come across people who claim that this is an unproven theory. Not knowing who to believe, I think it's best to hear testimonies from those who have been cured from stage 4 cancer.

Does anyone know of people who have tried alkaline treatment? Did they get cured? Please tell me all that you know about cancer patients who have been cured.

Thanks.

This year, my town is involved in the Relay for Life. In this event, people in the community can form teams to raise as much money as they can and donate the proceeds to cancer research. If you are in any way impacted by cancer yourself or know someone who is, or just want to help, please (!) go to my team's website and donate any amount of money to Kayla Frost. YOUR DONATION COUNTS! Please, help end the plight of millions of people around the world with cancer! They need you!

Team website:

If you read and want to share a story about cancer, or/and are planning to donate, please respond. (2 easy points anyway if you just post that you read it at all!)
