I am fairly newly diagnosed with lymphoma and I am looking for others who have been through the whole cancer journey. (It doesn't matter what other kinds of cancer, but I'm a man, so I can relate more to men)... I would like to find some online support groups, or cancer survivors websites, or just someone who has been through it who can share with me their experience. I just want to be able to read (and be inspired by) others who have gone through this horrible disease.

Do any of you know someone with cancer who has an inspirational website about their story that wouldn't mind a stranger peaking in on for moral support???

I would very much appreciate any help as reading something with a positive outcome will really help me through the LONNNNNG days in the hospital.

It would help to know your age in order to point you to support groups. Anyway here are a few. Lance Armstrong has an excellent, supportive, and informative website for all types of cancer:

A few years ago, my husband was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. It showed up with a colonoscopy and was the size of a large orange but very spongy. They don't know how long it was there. We had a very large prayer support from our church family and extended church families. God gave us the most amazing peace. He had the surgery 1 wk. after diagnosis and chemo 2 months later. The second chemo put him in the hospital with a bladder infection but he never felt sick even with a 104 temp. He had 6 rounds of chemo. We took the bull by the horns and did what we had to do. I put childrens tattoos on his head, a friend gave him a wig and he went into chemo. It was amazing the way other people cheered up who were having a hard time. Cancer is
NOT fun but you have to try to keep a positive attitude. The Oncologists all said that they had never seen anyone heal 3 days after major surgery or go through chemo the
way he did. Attitude makes a big difference. My husband is 76 this year and as goofy as they come. That and our faith in God's help and provision saw us through. He still gets tired but the immune system takes a beating with any surgery and cancer treatments. Keep a positive attitude and park fear at the door. My heart goes out to you
as so many people are going through this today. I'll be thinking about you and pray for
you. Take care and I hope that my husbands experience and what we went through together will give you a good outlook and lots of hope. Our hope is in God the One Who
created our bodies.

The previous sites given are excellent sources. The more you know about lymphoma, the better. There are many different kinds so you want to search for your specific type which you didn't mention. Go to the information sites and get as much knowledge as possible about your type. There is a big difference in the treatment given for the type. Check the website http://www.thewellnesscommunity.org/default.asp and see if they have a location in your area. They are a wonderful support organization with groups for the patient as well as caretakers with a professional facilitator in each meeting. Call the American Cancer Society and they will also give you information about lymphoma as well as support groups in your area. If you add the type of lymphoma to your question , you may get more specific help.

This may support you to fix your cancer and rid your body of it. I dont know if you are willing to try, but it will certainly help you to take some of my advice. You can try taking Cesium Chloride with Rubidium. I believe there is also one with DMSO. Its on some natural website made in 2000. I cant put websites here, so you can email me on that. Those are pretty much the two best natural remedies that you can combine to get rid of cancer. Its not a chemo therapy type of drug. Its about $75 dollars a bottle. A bottle lasts you a month. If you have heavy cancer, it will last you about 3 weeks. After taking the natural remedy, you need to eat some bananas or potatoes to replenish yourself with the potassium that you have lost. And, you can also take some Oxygen Drops with this. Cancer cannot survive if there is too much oxygen. What these oxygen drops do is help your body get more oxygen, thus killing any cancer that comes in contact with the extra oxygen. Do eat alot of greens, but I want to warn you of eating foods high in iron. These include but are not limited to broccoli, beef, red beets, etc etc. This is the natural building blocks of cancer. Without iron, it cannot grow. So, cut all iron out of your diet. Um, you should be eating more bran. So, look for bran cereals and brown rice. Thse bind with iron within the body, thus taking out everything that cancer needs. Good luck.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.
