well, i am not a doctor but they have detected cancer cells most likely on your cervix. It could be the cells are there but havent yet blown up to cancer. If still early enough you can have them removed or frozen as well, I think. sorry its not much. good luck and takecare.

After an abnormal pap smear, stating cancer it usually means you have to get your cervics frozen. You're usually o.k. after that procedure. The Dr. usually explains this to you. Nothing to be worried about though.

Dysplasia:The high false negative rate of the Pap smear occurs because all of these "errors" occur on a frequent basis. Get a second opinion....

it depends on what the smear showed, u really need to see the results of the pap smear and ask your dr.abnormal paps are not always maglinant.

Can mean different things. Sometimes it is a sign that cancer might develop or is developing. Sometimes it is nothing. But you really need to get the follow-up exams. I have had them before. The exams aren't too bad. The peace of mind is worth it.

For me it meant, I had to take the test again. Everything was fine.
