I was just curious if it is healthier/better wearing a bra that is without the underwire versus one that does.

the bra you wear has absolutly nothing to do with it.

A few years ago, a book was published stating that underwire bras may cause breast cancer. This is completely untrue and there is are no credible studies to support that wearing an underwire bra can cause breast cancer.

forget the breast cancer issue for now.
focus on the support that your breasts need. if you are larger than a B cup and have dense breasts, use the most supportive bra you can buy. years of doing otherwise will damage breast tissue. Underwire should really be Underplastic, but it doesn't sound as good.
there is no proven link between Underplastic bras and breast cancer.

Well, I will try to prove this untrue using the back door. Men do not wear bras. Only women wear bras. Women have breasts about 100 times bigger then men..This is on average by the way...And on average.. of all the breast cancer cases, men account for about 1% or less then 1%....It makes sense because a woman's average breast size is on average 100 times larger then mens...So their chances of getting breast cancer is 100 times more.....but what about the bra? It hasnt changed the numbers....So wear what you want...

if you go with out wearing bras, for the rest of your life.
