My toddler suffer's severe allergies and I'm going crazy not knowing what to give her. I cannot give her cow and goat milk because she is allergic. Can't give her almond milk, because she is allergic to nuts. Rice milk lacks a lot of vitamins and nutrients. I've been hearing so many bad things about soy, and she has been drinking that now. I am just terrified of all the negative research on soy. I do not know what to do. Please if someone can really help, I would love to hear your answer!

I have a food allergy. In the past when I felt the reaction coming on I could take Benadryl and keep the reaction down until it passed. Now I'm having trouble keeping the reaction under control. I wondered if they have weakened the over the counter version of Benadryl

I hate the feeling of having to blow my nose right after i use the saline spray, so I blow my nose. I'm not sure if you're supposed to let it sit awhile for it to work.

I have been babysitting my 3 year old cousin whose mother smokes. When she comes to my house she brings a backpack and car seat which smell so bad of smoke. Ive noticed that thourghout the day the smell is really getting to me, causes itchy watery eyes, nose congestion, nasal drip, coughing, tightness in my chest, wheezing, and it is hard to breath, then i get a headache. IS it possible for me to be allergic to the smoke on her clothing and items? Even though my aunt is not smoking around me, it's just the stale smell? I noticed i only experience these symptoms when she comes to my house during the week, then i will clean and be fine all weekend. Does this sound like allergies? Thanks!!!

The first night, she just felt like it was heartburn and spit it out. Then, the following night, she tried it again and got severe burning in mouth and throat, then had diarrhea and nausea. She began shaking uncontrollably all over her body. About 30 minutes later, it was all gone. Anyone hear of anything like this or know what the culprit could be?

I know of some things I am allergic to, but not all. I've ruled out everything I can think of and I am still having problems. I heard of a doctor that helps with these things, but I don't know how it works or what specific type of doctor to search for. (I don't have a G.P. at the moment, so I can't ask them.)

For the last week or so I have been really itchy all over my body. There is no rash. No skin flaking or breaks. My skin looks completely normal. When i scratch, even very lightly my entire skin puffs up in the shape of my nail scratch and turns bright red and warm. It stays puffed and red and warm for 10 minutes or so then goes away.
Anyone have any ideas?

Here is the scenario. I meet this totally awesome guy and invite him over for a drink. I had no clue he is allergic to cats. I have 3 of the little beasts. The poor sexy man is sneezing and miserable and it was too late for Claritan. (although he remained cute lol). What can I do to avoid this again - besides get rid of the cats. Is there a way to mask cat dander? The litter box is in the basement and other than seeing the cats or being allergic, no one would know they are there. Suggestions?

I've been to e.n.t. doctors. Had cat scan done. Only thing came
up with was dry sinuses. Been to several allergists. Tried all
types of medications. Had allergy tests done. No results. Symptoms: burning, stinging in sinuses, lower eyelid even quivers. This accompanied by severe nausea--have to fight to keep from throwing up. Now here's the most weird part-- I can
wake up say at 6 and feel decent, go back to bed, wake up 2
hours later and above symptoms in full force. This has happened
many times. Also have nasal stuffiness 24/7.. I have some allergy
type syptoms 24/7. Cold weathers seems to trigger it. Most of
the time, there seems to be no causative factor. I feel horrible most of the time because of this and it is really wearing me down.
In other words, I'm ready to give up. Please help me.

We were trying to determine whether someone was allergic to the wax coating on the outside, because his throat swells with hives whenever he eats apples, and she made a really good observation:

Why put wax on them anyway? Apples are fine without it.

did you know that a lot of people are allergic to dogs if you havent bathed it in a long time? That is what I discovered. My friend and I are allergic to "Dirty" dogs because he acually has his dogs scent on him to where he gets allergic to it and he came over saturday the 27th of january 2007 and he was sick and i remembered on Catz for DS i got a kitty card and it said that people really arent allergic to cats and that theyre allergic to the cat because it is dirty or of its saliva. So then I combined those together and then the person is allergic to the dogs scent.
