Most of the products we use daily (i.e. personal hygiene products, cleaning products, etc.) contain various man-made chemicals that can trigger an allergic reaction. These chemicals can even slowly poison your body. For people with sensitve skin, it can be very uncomfortable. I've recently switched to purchasing natural bath and body products as well as natural cleaning products for my family. It's made a real difference for us. I had severe dry skin and found this awesome lotion called Renew that is completely natural. The dry, cracked, itchy skin was cleared up within 24 hours of using it. If you'd like more info on where to find natural product, feel free to e-mail me :o)

RE:
Skin Itch????
For the last week or so I have been really itchy all over my body. There is no rash. No skin flaking or breaks. My skin looks completely normal. When i scratch, even very lightly my entire skin puffs up in the shape of my nail scratch and turns bright red and warm. It stays puffed and red and...

I had that happen once and it seemed to be a medication allergy. However, I still itch even though I stopped all medication. I don't have the redness and swelling I did before, but I still do it a lot.
I'm just as perplexed as you are. I hope someone can give you an answer though. All I can suggest is to check out any medication you may be taking.

Of course you need to keep hydrated. I use white vinegar on my skin every day and it takes care of the itching just fine. Better than the expensive medicines the dermatologist prescribed! The smell goes away after it dries. After it dries I apply a balm called Bee natural. Keeps the itching away all day!

Hives? Allergies?
Have you changed your bath or laundry soap recently? Your diet? Think carefully about what changed in your life just prior to this itching.
It could also be caused by stress and emotional upset.
