I've been recently diagnosed with a peanut/tree-nut allergy. My favorite candies have been peanut butter related or made in a factory that processes peanuts. What fast-food should I steer clear from, and what candies and snacks are really good and 100% nut free? I'm having a very hard time with this recent development.

when i woke up this morning only my right eye was crusty and gooey and my eye ball is pretty red ( not alot though). the thing is that this has happened before, last year at almost around the same time (last time was mid january). also, i think a little bit after i kinda broke out in hives but it went away that same night and it wasnt serious, no other symptoms besides an itchy rash. they made me take a blood test to find out if i was allergic to any common allergens as well as food allergens and nothing was found. i dont have hives right now, only the eye part but what can this be? ill add more details if needed.

oh and ive also been putting on eye makeup a little more this week and i would problably think it was that but since this has happend before i dont know.

thanks!

I have a 15 week old Chihuahua, who recently developed an inflammed rash on the inside of both ears, from ear canal to tip of ear. There is no odor or discharge coming from her ears. She also has a rash behind her ears. It is very itchy,so I called my vet, and she says it sounds like some type of allergy, and before I take her in, to try some Benedryl Cream. What I'm worried about is, after I apply it, if she scratches and gets some on her paw and licks it off, or gets any of it in her eye, or if one of my other dogs licks it grooming her, that ingesting even a little through licking, it might do harm. I'd like a second opinion about the Benedryl Cream or any suggestions of other things I can use to help relieve her discomfort. I feel so bad for her. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? I also heard that Mineral Oil might soothe the rashes. She's on the same puppy food she's been on since weaning. Can she suddenly develop an allergy to that, and if so how can I tell?

I am now almost deaf in my ear. I cannot hear anything really out of my left ear. And it is ringing. I have no pain at all. But I feel like there is like "snot" in it or behind it. I know I need to see the doctor but I wonder if when I blew my nose, the snot blew out my ear drum. I know this is gross, and I am sorry. But I am having a hard time hearing anything. My cold is basically gone and I have no congestion, but I am still deaf and feel like I got a big lugy in my ear. Any remedies until I can see dr. feelgood?

Was looking at a jar of peanut butter today and wondered if a pregnant woman ate peanuts and the baby had a nut allergy, what would happen?
Because some people have bad nut allergies that can kill them.

I have a 14 week old female chihuahua, who has recently developed a severe rash in both her ears. There is no odor or discharge, coming from the ears, but they are extremely itchy! She is still on the same food she was on since weaning her. She's eating Purina One Healthy Puppy Formula and has never has a problem before now. Could they become allergic to a food if they have been eating it since weaning started? I spoke to my veterinarian about it to see if she should be seen, and she said that it's probably some kind of an allergy and to use some Benedryl Cream on her ears, and she said it was safe. She also said it could be when she gets excited that it happens. She said if it's not better in a few days to bring her in. I just wanted to get another opinion on how I can help my little girls discomfort, and maybe an idea of what might be causing it. This morning I noticed rashes also develping behind her ears. Have any of you experienced this problem and how did you solve it? Thanks

Besides being allergic to grass, trees, pollen, etc., I have also been found to be allergic to dust mites and cat dander. But I have ALWAYS lived with at least one cat (now have two) and I never had these issues before. What could be causing such bad allergy symptoms in winter? Do dust mites get worse or cat dander / fur get more potent in colder weather? Thanks for your help; my allergist doesn't seem very helpful to me, just tells me to get rid of cats and buy expensive stuff (vaccum, sheets, other things) to deal with it. I just would like some insight on this.

I need a shampoo without any fragrances or chemicals I could be allergic to. I've been allergic to soap for the past 2 years, so I bought a hypoallergenic soap, but what do I do about shampoo?

I was using hydrogen peroxide two nights ago and my hands were covered in it. I also used it (but applied with cotton) on my face. My face is just a little itchy now, but my hands have a pimple like itchy rash on them, the backs of them that is. Why would that be or is it something else? Everything I'm finding on the web makes it sound like hydrogen peroxide (just the regular kind in the brown bottles from the store) is a great cure all. Can it cause rashes too? Is it related to another drug etc...that can cause a cross reaction (for example, you are not supposed to take ibuprophen if allergic to aspirin)? Unless you are a medical professional, I'm looking for sites etc... to back up what you're telling me, not just what someone "thinks".

from top to bottom said 2 neighbors who saw it when it was open. They found radon in building and drilled hole from my wall to this moldy room to solve radon problem in building. For years, I had SEVERE coughing to the point I peed myself and thought my ribs were broken throwing out my back from violent coughing that went on several hours where I couldn't catch a breath...with tons of clear phelm..thought I had chronic bronchitis but many years later found it was allergic rhitinitus and allergy to mold and then discovered mold under carpet when moving. Few lung problems since moving..it mostly all went away. I am worried this mold might affect my health and cause return of symptoms. Can it get to me from through walls or under door in hallway? What can I do to get them to fix it.? I am afraid to complain as so many residents are evicted from this subsidized housing on sham excuses. Would health department help me anonomously complain and how dangerous is mold?
