i touched my cat then my eye by accident last night and its really swollen now.how can i get rid or reduce the swelling before going out later?

Get some anti-histamine, like Piriton (old fashioned I know but best in this situation). It comes in liquid or tablet form and you buy it in a chemist. Don't get Piritoneze.
Keep an eye on the swelling as you might have an infection and eye infections require medical intervention.
Nevertheless, your pharmacist will give you good advice. Get to the chemist as soon as it opens.

Its most likely an allergic reaction- the fastest way to make the swelling go down is with anti-histimine eye drops, such as Otrivine Antistin. You can get it over the counter at the chemist.
You can also help the swelling go down by holding a cold flannel on you eye, or a slice of cucumber, or a cold teabag!

Hmm..you touched the cat than your eye..or did you mean the cat scratched you? If it was the touching thing it sounds like you have allergies. Take some Benadryl and put a warm compress on it.

Sounds like you are allergic to cats if so an anti histamine could help but don,t drink to much later on.
