The FDA says our indoor air is 5 times as polluted as outdoor air. Do you think that contributes to your allergies or breathing problems?

They used to be very rare, even 10 yrs ago. Nowadays, you can't go anywhere without someone claiming to have or worried about someone else with food allergies, and it seems to be the majority of the population that has them. And that it is now rare if you don't have any. How did they increase so rapidly? Is something like that even scientifically possible? Is it a fairly new genetic thing or something else?

I'm not saying they don't exist but I have honestly never met anyone, adult or child, who has ever had any.

I've been getting clogged sinuses recently and I'm pretty sure it from the dust mites in my room.

I've bought an air filter and covered all my bedding with dust mites covers and that's helped a lot, but I was wondering if I should deal with my carpet as well?

My room is small, about 10'x12', and the carpet is thin and only about 5 years old.

I was wondering if it was possible to cover the carpet with linoleum as opposed to taking everything out of my room, ripping up the carpet, then laying the linoleum.

I've been having an allergy on my nose since young. I can't get too close and long with dust and animals. When my allergy starts I have to take medicine for weeks before it finally gets back to normal. What's worst, it came several time when I was just about to go for a holiday! Does anyone have any idea how to cure it? It'd be best if the remedy is simple and doesn't cost much money. Is there any food which is good in curing it?

My boyfriend has been having Dry (unproductive) cough for nearly a year now. He has gone to multiple doctors, had chest X-rays, blood tests, and a Cat scan and everything comes back negative (meaning he has no signs of anything wrong). The cat scan was the most recent. He is getting extremely aggrivated and has no clue what it is and what to do. So far they have tried giving him Advair (didn't work), Albuterol (didn't work),Prednisone (didn't work), Ciproflauxin (didn't work), and he has tried cough drops, robitussen, Nyquil, dayquil, and other over the counter cough suppressants. If anyone has any idea or anything we can do please let me know. I am getting worried. The cough just keeps getting worse and it seems there is no end to this in the near future since the Doctor's are just saying "here try this" over and over with no results.

Please tell me all you can

She has a hard time breathing and has relied on childrens allergy medicine and an inhaler for the past week or so, but the problem seems to get no better. Short of giving away my cats, what can I do to make things easier on her?

I am not pregnant yet.....maybe in a year or so

I don't have allergies, but my sister does (environmental). My uncle was allergic to bee stings. But I want to prevent asthma, food allergies, etc too. It is the most terrible thing to deal with I think. We have friends that can't come over because we have a dog.

For those who already have allergies -
I believe in bio-set an energetic type of permanent allergy elimination. I worked for a chiro who cured many many people. Find a practitioner at www.bioset.net
