Bees slow down with a drop in temperature. No they are not out in cold weather.

The survival of the bee through the cold months of winter is largely dependent upon the particular kind of over 1,000 species to which it belongs. Generally speaking, the social bees do not summer in the South during the winter, as do migratory birds, but, instead, live or die in their natural environs.

in the south bees make honey and store it for winter when pollen is usually not available. Also, they are cold blooded and cannot survive outside ind cold weather. if you live in an area of warm weather year round, they will definitely be out.

Bees shouldn't be out in the winter unless you have warm winters.

No they aren't. They are dormant in the winter in their hives living off of the stored honey. If you are in a climate that doesn't get cold then they are out and about all the time. And bee's do not die except the queen, the only one who dies are the drone's who mate with the queen, her female offspring that she kills to avoid loosing her hive to one of them, and the bees who sting people and lose their stingers, or the one's who die from humans spraying them or swatting them, or even windsheilds. LOL

I would keep it with you always because sometimes in the winter you will find bees and in Winter they are much more aggressive and can be stowed away anywhere. Hope this helps you!

It depends on where you live!

If you live in the south, then yes... carry your epi-pen.
If you live in the north (hard freeze areas... north of the Mason Dixon line), then no... put your pen away in your linen closet for the winter.

All bees die at the end of summer except the queen.

It depends on where you live. If it is warm enough, bees are out. They don't keep track of the seasons, just the temperature.
