Whenever I try to put my contacts in in the morning, they either cloud up or won't go in due to excessive slime in my eyes. If I manage to wipe the slime out, my eyes look very red for the rest of the day. I know this is caused by eye allergies (though I haven't been tested for allergies) as I've had this problem since I got contacts three years ago. (and I can't think of anything else that would cause this) Is there any sort of eye drops that help with this? I've tried several allergy medicines (benadryl, claritin, even prescription clarinex, and some generic brands) and none have helped so far. I dislike glasses (partly out of vanity, I'll admit) and right now I can't afford to buy glasses in my eye prescription anyways. Anything I can do? it's taken me up to half an hour to get my contacts in before, and I'm getting irritated.
