my elderly mother lived after anaphylactic shock from nsaids product (rubbed on her skin). Prognosis?

Was not expected to live. Lost blood & had blood infection. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this with their loved one. What I can expect.

Depending on her age and overall physical condition/health, she may recover fully... or this may set her back. If she does pull through, make sure all of her medical charts and records (even at pharmacies she uses) are updated with this allergy.

If the infection is under control now, she will be fine. I would get her a medic alert bracelet to identify this allergic reaction.
