Lol Charter slacker. My guess is ur someone that has Mrs. Toner for biology phase 4/5 that has a habit of waiting til the last minute to do their journals. I'm sorry to tell u that this question stumped me also. Lol I'm not worryin bout my 99 average tho = P

I should also point out that besides a good grade, these questions are absolutely pointless to success in real life. Who cares about a skit that represents cell respiration and o yea, an educational cartoon.
- my advice: dont worry about the stupid journals- theyre only worth like 50 points and i would do em thursday night/homeroom anyway

The immune system and the allergy system are two different systems. People with allergies sometimes take allergy shots which are very dilute mixtures of the very thing they are allergic to. these injections actually sensitize the immune system into recognizing and dealing with them without waking up the allergy response system. In other words if the immune system can be trained to recognize pollen, dust, or mold spores and deal with them before the body has an allergic response then no more sniffles.

Histamines in the system produce the allergic reactions to different degrees depending on te sensitivity to the allergen. That's why Benidryl (sp?) is called an anti-histamine
