in my limeted medical understanding most ingested food stuffs that manifest in allergic reactions appear in wheels on the skin, I have a colleague who broke out in numerous tiny pinhead blisters which stated over her wrists and progressing onto both her front and rear torso, if this indeed the tomato reaction what are the substances in tomato that do this. I also have had tomatoes eleminated from my diet in effort to maintain Aand B headache syndrome.

Thanks

I ve been allergic to dust for years now and it can be really crazy when u live in India, where dust is commonplace. Please suggest something that removes this allergy. Also please do not suggest medicine which is easily available. In India, one may not just about anything.

I'm 31 years old and have just been diagnosed as having a milk allergy. The allergist figures I have been allergic since childhood but other doctors have put the symptoms to other things... When I realized there was a problem it was because I broke out into hives, in addition to the normal gastric and migranes I normally felt.

But two days ago, I ate a tiny sliver of pizza with cheese on it and that cheese sent me into a tale spin. First hives, then immediate violent vomiting (so bad that I also vomited blood, pulled muscles in my right rib cage and did something to my throat!) On top of this while not really labored breathing was difficult and my chest felt really tight.

So that one little sliver of pizza sent me to the ER. Does anyone know if this is normal and WHY after 31 years of being a milk product junky that it would get this bad so quickly? I mean now even my shampoo, that has a milk rinse added, causes my head to break out. AHHHHH

Does vaccuming the house every other day help relieve the symptoms? My mom isn't like crazily allergic, she just has slightly watery eyes sometimes and sneezes a few. I know the best way would be to get rid of our cat, but we had a cat a while ago and she was fine --- plus we're in Texas, where weather makes allergies worse....also, this is our Christmas present...suggestions, pleasee!!

I currently work in an office with an allergic co-worker. For a few years now we all have dealt with her allergies and tried to be caring. Now our company sends out an email saying not only can we not have perfumes and lotions but we must now wear UNSCENTED DEODORANT! What is she going to be up in my arm pits. Is that legal?? They also brought up foot odor in the dress code. Uh oh sounds a bit stinky to me!!

Two days ago, after removing two latex/plastic bandaids from my Grandson's back, the areas where they touched the skin was red and swollen. That night he was vomitting all night and last night he had a red rash all over his body and a very high temp. Both were gone by this morning, but his eyes were red and swollen for a couple of hours. He's back to his old energetic self now, but I was wondering if this could be an allergic reaction to latex. He has never been allergic to it before, and I've never heard of a fever with a latex reaction. Is this possible?
