Dab some toothpaste on it - helps with redness as it softly bleeches the skin and the cleaning qualities help too

Or try dabbing a bit of perfume or aftershave on it - this dries up the area and should be followed by some vaseline the next day

If you have some, elizabeth arden 8 hour creme can help too

Try to ignore it, I know its difficult but if you leave it and don't pick it will go quicker and be less noticable and red. If it doesn't fade within a few days try using an exfoliator skin wash and buy a 'spot stick' boots do a tea tree and witch hazel day/night one

I have the same problem! hehe But its not on my nose, its on my chin! I'm just wearing hardly any make - up and using T-zone spot treatment.
Also, Im just trying to pretend its not there, so I dont itch/scratch it. It seems to be working!! Good Luck!

No need to see a dermatologist quite yet. Does it have drainage? What color/size? Flaking skin? If it doesn't go away in a few days, you might want to see your primary care doctor. Are the edges regular/symmetrical?

Rubbing soap on it can help (you know the underside of a bar of soap that is a bit wet - use that), or dab a bit of aftershave/perfume on it to dry it out - works for me! I usually squeeze/pick it first.
