Damp Cold - hives if mild - unconscious if not caught in time
Fish and Seafood - strawberry rash, swelling, sickness
Food additives and colorings - various from mild stomach upsets to swellings
A lot of prescription medicines, retinol, penicillin etc.
Wasps - can stop breathing if on the top part of my body
But these are the ones I am aware of, I get fed up with me, as I am developing more and more all the time.
I am saving to go to a specialist allergy clinic to have treatment, but then again I may not test as allergic to them, as my allergy tests often come back negative!

Peanuts, chocolate, tomatoes, chillys, citrus, Febreeze, dust and pollen, uhm I know there is more...oh I have allergic reactions to salt, and the cold. When I have anything with salt my lips swell and itch, peanuts, chocolate, and tomatoes trigger my eczema on my face neck, chest, stomach, arms and behind my legs, and swollen eyes. Anything with chilly's or citrus burn the inside of my mouth and I get a red rash inside. When I'm in the cold I get hives and It burns. There are a lot of other little things that trigger my allergic reactions. According to the allergy specialist I'm allergic to nothing. -.-' Stupid fool, so I have appointments with a dermatologist shortly.

I used to be allergic to weather changes, cold air, pollens like tree, grass and weeds, and cheese with mold! It was horrible and I feel for all the people who have allergies, life is not easy with those conditions, especially for the ones who get asthmatic due to allergies not caught in time! Good luck in life and health to all! One love, Krisz!!

I'm Allergic to: Corn, Milk, Eggs, Beans. Delayed allergies to Radish, Peppers, and several other things.

1. Allergic to Breathing. - This is how I described my allergies prior to finding out about corn. Now that I've cleaned corn out of my system. I'm off antihistamines and breathing fine (well with the occasional off moment). This includes nasal congestion, sneezing, chronic colds, sinus infections, bronchitis, asthma type symptoms, itchy ears, ear drainage.

2. Corn Crazies - Depending on the type of corn I get into.. this usually associated with corn syrup and citric acid for me. I get high. I get loopy, crazy, stoned feeling. My friends say its like talking to someone who is stoned. I'm slow to respond and misunderstand most conversations. I get highly irritated, irrational, illogical, and slightly paranoid. Its like floating in your own mind and you can't concentrate. Attempting to concentrate is actually painful. Very much ADD type things. (When I feel this coming on, I now warn people. Those that know me, run for cover and tell me to tell them when I've recovered.) See also #20 Loopy

3. Loss of Motor Function - Often this occurs in combination with the crazies but not always. Usually manifests as klutziness. Dropping things, cutting myself while doing normal kitchen prep, bumping into things, walls, doorways, etc. Extremely accident prone. Miscalculating depth perception (or so it seems).

4. Acid Reflux - Burping, nausea, partially throwing up, indigestion.

5. Diarrhea - I call it violent diarrhea. Where within 30-45 min of eating, you run to the toilet and are forcibly emptied of everything in your body (or at least it feels like it). (This is usually accompanied by hot flashes and chills)

6. Blurry Vision

7. Shivers - This is comparable to that sensation where you're nodding off and you wake up just as your head starts to drop. Its like an electrical charge going up your spine and at the base of your head seems to ignite. Its not painful but can cause ya to jump (like you would if you were nodding off and woke up).

8. Throat/Tongue Swelling. - I haven't had it fully close or anything, but I have had it swell enough to make me panic.

9. Edema - Ankle swelling, all over body swelling, Facial swelling (lips, nose, eyes, even cheeks). I've been known to gain 5lbs of water weight in 24 hours. Joint swelling - like having arthritis and can affect range of motion.

10. Acne/Boils - Everything from small little all over the body acne type bumps (not a rash), to tiny whiteheads/blackheads, to deep cystic acne, to huge painful boils. (My biggest boil measured 3 inches long, 1 inch wide, raised from the surface 1 inch and you could feel that it was about 1-2 inches deep. That was over a year ago and its still healing.) I've had acne all my life. No cleanser would fully get rid of it and most of the popular cleansers just made it a lot worse.

11. Binge eating: This usually occurs in conjunction with the "crazies". I will eat everything in sight, never get full, and crave sugar and salty snack foods.

12. Dizziness - I had to stop taking ballet (which despite my weight I was pretty good at it.) because I would have days where just walking was too much for me. One small turn and I'd fall over. (see also klutziness or Loss of Motor Function)

13. Fatigue/Apathy - Everything is a tremendous effort. Sluggish.

14. Sleeping/Insomnia - I tend to get so tired that even getting up to go to bed is too much effort, or I'm tired but not sleepy. I will stay up for hours. (If I have to corn crazies, I can't sleep. If I try the world spins and I get a feeling of being sea sick and wake up.) When I do get to sleep, I will crash for about 12 hours. It is impossible for me to wake and function on less than 12 hours if I have gotten into corn. Inability to wake up (stay awake when woken), wake very tempermental, sometimes feel glued to the bed unable to move from it. Early days before I found out it was a corn allergy, I would be required to sleep at least 8-10 hours every night no matter what. I could get up after 6 hours of sleep but I felt like I had the flu all day and couldn't properly digest any food no matter what I ate.

15. Altered Perception of Time - When I've gotten into corn the world for me slows down. I can do something and think I spent 5 minutes on it then look at the clock and it was an hour. I can work on things all day and never get anything done.

16. OCD symptoms - Personally I believe these are coping mechanisms as habit is comforting to someone trapped in a body of chaos. Certain things HAVE to be done in certain ways or its not done right and must be done again the right way (laundry, dishes, cleaning the bathroom, etc.). Lining up items for use or eating. I used to be a lot like Monica of Friends, but now that I'm off corn I've settled down a bit. I still like habits though.. old habits die hard.

17. Mood Swings - Often in conjunction with the corn crazies, I would go from 0-60 in less than a second. Anger, super joy joy, sadness, crying for no reason, Manic. I learned not to trust my emotions.

18. Depression/Anxiety - I get really depressed and feel like a failure. But then if you look at all the symptoms, you can see why that might happen. Actually just #15 alone would depress most people. I get anxious and nervous and fearful. For many years I expended a lot of energy into hiding these symptoms (1-18) from people. Since for many years I was told by my doctors that it was all in my head, I became terrified of people finding out how screwed up I was.

19. Headaches/Migraines/Hangover - I didn't get headaches/migraines often but now and then (probably because back then I was always eating corn in everything so I would get my fix). Now that I know about corn, I know what its from... Withdrawal. When I get into corn (corn crazies especially) I will go through a small detox type thing. I will get huge headaches which instantly go away if I eat something with corn. It feels exactly like a hangover.

20. Loopy – This has just recently gotten its own category. Manifests as extra happy, silly, and annoying to others. I find myself unusually chipper, and love to make noises to go along with activities. (Much like a child makes noises while playing with toy cars, only its an adult making noises while doing adult activities).

21. Dark Circles under eyes - caused by milk exposures.

22. Hives - Caused by egg exposures.
