He takes Valtrex everyday and has never passed it on. His doctor told him the chances were very slim if he took valtrex everyday and in six years has only had one breakout.

What are the chances of him passing it to me if he is taking valtrex and there is no breakout.... I dont want to use condoms forever!

For the last five days or so I've been coughing and constantly having to spit every so often. Over the last two days whenever I lie down to go to sleep I start coughing and having to spit uncontrollably every few minutes, which keeps me awake. In the morning I usually end up coughing out thick green mucus.

I went to see a doctor who said it was a virus infection and recommended Diamatap to stop the coughing, but I don't like to take medicine unless I really have to so that my body doesn't build resistance to the medicine for the future.

Is there anything else I can do to help me not cough at night. How long do you think it'll take to get better? With the exception of the coughing and spitting I feel fine everywhere else.

If one has HIV or Aids what are the odds that they transmit it to someone during intercourse? Is it more or less for some people or is it all the same?

my son was diagnosed with add, when he was fourteen, he is now nineteen, at the age of fourteen he did not want the help the doctors were offering him and there was nothing we as parents could do, over the last few years his mood swings and aggresion are worse, we are trying to convince him to get medical help but he changes his mind all the time one day he will say he will get help and then the next he will say he has not said this and he doesn't need help. we are finding that he lies a lot, and this is getting to the point where we cannot trust him and look at others differently because of what he says we don't know if things are the truth or not. Is lying a syptom of add, he as always been a story teller, the lies are pointless lies that cause a lot of trouble, any advice, please. many thanks xxxx

My dad is 70 and appears to have dementia. He is refusing OT and PT. I truly believes he needs mental therapy, such as conversational and practicing the brain. But I assume Medicare doesn't call that therapy?

My husband suffers from epilepsy, and has had three grand mal seizures in the last month and a half, after not having any for almost two years (not even petit mals. He is taking medication for seizures). Over the last two years since his diagnosis, he's suffered from frequent migraines, and has had a huge amount of short-term memory loss.
There's also been a deteroriation of motor functions; he's no longer able to keep up physically with other soldiers (he's in the military)(he's not overweight, even by military standards).
We're both really worried. And I can tell his neurologist is as well.
Anybody have some useful information on this?
I tried to provide all pertinent information, but if I missed anything, ask and I will add to the details.

I had a positive gonorrhea test and received a shot of rocephin at the doctors office yesterday. I was wondering how long it takes for the symtoms to go away? I was also wondering if it is common for rocephin not to work in some people? Please help, I am very scared. I always have protected sex, but this one time the condom broke. Im sure I will get a lot of people replying to my answer just to put me down. I do appreciate those of you who give me a genuine answer. Thanks!

i've been using proactiv for a month and a half now but my acne problem doesn't seem to improve. There might be a difference but i barely notice it. Should i just bear with it and wait patiently? I'm afraid to stop using it because i read that when you stop using pro activ suddenly, you tend to break out. Help!
