I smoke Newports, I've herd that menthol's do have fiberglass in them...I'm considering swiching to non-menthol are there any decent tasting non-menthols that don't have fiber glass in them???

I just received a phone call from a representative of sickle cell anemia. He said that my newborn has the trait but not the actual disease. What does this mean? Can it lead to the disease?...He wants me to meet with him, is this for the association or for my daughters own health?

5 years of suspicious I have syphilis , So I have just take the test son september to overcome may fear. The test came back at negative and I was little relive. Then I come to some website about syphilis and I have read that their maybe a false negative result for RPR test if the people in late stage of syphilis. My question is should I trust the test and move on with my life or should I take another test? and what kind of test you guy recommend for me to take? I've had three pregnancies in the last two years. One I miscarried and the other two were perfectly normal. Since I had my second baby, 4 months ago, I've had one thing after another. Colds, Mastits, peirced ear infections, hives, terrible seasonal allergies, and new food allergies I've never had before. I'm also breastfeeding and have been for the past two years with just a small break between the two babies for about two months. My body is depleted. What can I do? What vitamins will help? Any natural ideas would be great, I don't take medications.

For the past 5 years now I have not been able to eat meats such as pork, beef or chicken...Also anything cooked in the fat from the foods...I can only eat fish, seafoods, fruits and vegetables...I have been having really bad symptoms and have seen several doctors and even in the hospital for a couple of days...No one seems to know what is going on...I have constant diarhea, migraines and severe cramps...During my time of the month the diarhea is worse....I have had several tests done and still nothing...Does anyone have a clue or suggestion as to what this could be???

My Sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in November. It started off as a little lump in her left breast. She has gone through lots of Chemo and alternative drugs. She lost her left breast now and most of the pectoral muscle and roughly 23 lymph nodes as all were invaded. She is now being told that there are spots on her spine and in her other breast and some of those lymph nodes. There may be a spot or two as well on her liver. She does not want to know the prognosis as she doesn't want to think about it. She has a 4 yr old son and a 1 yr old daughter. I want to know the pronosis though. I want to be prepared so I can be strong for when my parents need me the most. Any information out there I would appreciate it. I have researched so much. By the way I am also doing the Making Strides 5 mile Breast Cancer walk in Philly in October, if anyone would like to make a small donation to that please let me know and I will send you the link. My gums have been hurting and swollen lately, so I went to see a dentist, who told me that I have the big pockets (more 5mm) and I need to get a deep cleaning and more. However, I recently was told by my physician that I might have a minor heart murmur. So my dentist won't see me until I get a release from my physician/cordiologist. The problem is that my first appointment with a cardiologist is only next month and I am not sure how long it will take to get results about my heart murmur.

Should I try to get a form signed by my physician instead? She doesn't know much about my heart since it was discovered lately. Am I putting my heart in danger of getting some bacteria if I get this form signed without serious check-up and diagnoses of my heart? Or will this waiting for seeing a cardiologist first hurt my teeth? I don't want to increase my heart condition by using antibiotics at the dentist office but neither I want to lose my teeth by not treating them! Please help!!!!

My son can no longer connect to the internet. We have dial up (very small town in TX - nothing is availabel where we live) and we use MSN.

Normally when he puts in his password a message comes up that says "Dialing" and then Changes to "Sign In Attempt 1". It always connects on the first attempt.

The last few days it never tries to dial, just goes directly to "sign in attempt 1" and then attempts 2. Then it says it cannot connect.

It does not seem to be even trying to dial. Tested the modem it's good, tested the phone cord - it's good, tested the jack - it's good. Anybody had this problem? What can we do to fix it?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I was diagnosed with hpv last fall, I got one of the higher risk kinds. I got it from my boyfriend because I found out that one of his ex girlfriends had it. I have been with him since then.

I'm just curious if hpv is always going to spread to other people as long as I have it. And on average, how long does hpv stay in your body?

He's got a blocked artery somewhere in the head. He is also an out patient so we have to carry him to the hospital radiation room for 22 days. he's quite old, movement is minimal so we handle him to and after the treatment. We have to literally embrace him to move him.

Yesterday my Dr. called and said I had a positive test for Chlamydia. I have been with my new BF for 5 mos. I was tested for STD/HIV before we had sex and everything was fine.
When I went into the Dr. yesterday she gave me some antibiotics and said everything would be fine. Problem is I haven't told my BF yet. I invited him to come have lunch with me since we work in the same Office Plaza . I plan on telling him when he comes. I really have no clue as to how to start the conversation. I don't want to blame him for anything but I also want him to know HE gave it to me and i am extremely upset that he didn't know his "status" before he started sleeping with me. How should I start the conversation? Should I tell him before, after or while we are eating? Should I keep it short and sweet or should I tell him that He gave it to me and how disgusting it is that he doesn't get STD checks in between sex partners. I don't have a clue as to how to deal with this and what to say/not say. HELP!!
