I've had three pregnancies in the last two years. One I miscarried and the other two were perfectly normal. Since I had my second baby, 4 months ago, I've had one thing after another. Colds, Mastits, peirced ear infections, hives, terrible seasonal allergies, and new food allergies I've never had before. I'm also breastfeeding and have been for the past two years with just a small break between the two babies for about two months. My body is depleted. What can I do? What vitamins will help? Any natural ideas would be great, I don't take medications.

I want to second PennyPincher's wise words, and also suggest
LOCAL bee pollen from your local farmer's market. That helped me a great deal with my seasonal allergies. When you eat bee pollen, you are exposing yourself to all the local pollen and you build up an immunity in 30 days or so. It sounds like it would make you SICKER-I resisted for a year thinking that-but as a result of trying it I came off prescription meds that cost me $225/month.

(The pollen costs me about $20 a month).

HTH!

I had the same problem after my first two pregnancies. I was sick ten days of every month for six months. My babies had colic and I was on a limited diet. Be sure to get plenty of protein, even some in every meal. You need a lot of protein when you are nursing. Lack of protein will weaken your immune system. Take your vitamins and most important of all--Do your best to get enough sleep! If necessary, pump some milk for a nighttime feeding and have someone watch the baby for a night or two every week. You will feel like a new person with a decent night's sleep. I was only getting 4-5 hours of sleep per night since they were both waking me up.

I was watching a health program with a doctor. He said that if you take oil of oregano that this will help the yeast and fungal infection and will clear up your problems. I have the same symptoms and have had it for years. I could feel the difference within a week. Take the gels as the drops are pretty nasty tasting. Look up bioinnovations on the internet. You can find more information there.

Definately go see a naturopath. They will do a thorough interview and find the best and highest quality supplements for you to help you rebuild your immunity and support your body. The supplements my naturopath suggested truly improved my life.
