If your partner is not infected and you are both maintaining personal hygiene, you should not have infections due to sex. Urinating right after intercourse is a good advice for prevention of bladder infections.
If you were taking contraceptive pills, they can give you yeast (Candida) infection as side effect, and sometimes it can be recurrent.
Wearing clothes made of natural fiber such as cotton and avoiding tight pants will help.

you can catch anything, from any part of the body. Oral sex or Vaginal sex. doesn't matter. is it the same partner each time? with the sex and the oral sex? if it is. maybe you should have HIM checked out. if you are RECEIVING oral sex and get an infection, see if he has open soars in his mouth. if so, then yes, you can catch something. Talk to your Dr. and maybe talk to your guy.
Good Luck. Lay off ALL types of sex, till you know what's going on. or you will never find the where it's coming from. Just trying to help. not meaning to sound "motherly" but you asked. and if you don't want to hear that you need to get your boyfriend checked, then keep on doing what you're doing, and see where that takes you. If it isn't him, then that's great.

The human mouth is not the cleanest place in this world...so I reccomend that you only participate in Oral Sex when you have the ability to shower afterward. Your vagina has a very strict pH(acidity) and if that gets thrownn off by anything you can be susceptible to an infection. And the answer is yes, you can get an infection/STD from oral sex. Be Carefull, know who you are letting go down on you...Good Luck!

if the one giving you the oral sex doesn't brush his teeth and use an antibacterial mouthwash before he does, then his mouth is full of bacteria, and guess what, you get bacterial vaginitis and even bladder infections. Ask your partner to clean his mouth first. And be sure to urinate immediately after, this flushes the bacteria that may still be there away from your urethra and prevents bladder infection. And of course wash yourself, maintain good personal hygiene.

Yes, you can catch a disease by giving or getting oral sex. It can be possible that those soaps are irritating you. Be careful...please. Regarding you doing something wrong, I can't tell you that, just be more careful. If you want to continue to do the oral thing, use protection.
