I work at a hospital & when someone passes, anyone available takes the body to the morgue. The other night, there was a body already in there that needed to be moved to make room & we noticed it had goosebumps on its arms. How is this possible? We asked our ED Dr. & he had no answer.

I was really stressed this year from work and just had enough. So I looked up the symptoms of an appendicitis, and faked them to my boss. I was send my doctor, and I did it again. Before I knew it, i was in hospital and having tests on me. I stuck to my original symptoms and before I knew it I was operated on.
My family all rallied to me and it felt good being pampared on. But I feel really guilty about what I have done. What should I do ?

I understand that even cell phones can give off enough radiation to give you a brain tumor and a tv can also radiate you if watched too close. I t does not make sense that radiation can cure cancer but this seems to be the standard cure for most cancers. Please explain the differences between getting cancer and curing cancer using the same medium.

My son got two mosquitoe bites and they always look like welts. The doctor says the one looks infected, but they always look like welts. How did a mosquitoe bite get infected. Could he also have a allrigic rection to them, he's been vomiting and a low grade fever.

Has ragweed season come into full bloom yet in the western part of Missouri?
The pollen sites say we have been med-high for pollen, but gawd you need a masters degree in horticulture to figure out which ragweed we have, etc.
I have always suffered severly from ragweed but have not shown symptoms yet...I am wondering if the steroid shot I got last season has changed my immune system (I know it did this spring, I never used to get contact dermititis from cats, but did this spring) or, if the season just hasn't started yet because of weather conditions.
Any and all input is much welcome THANKS

When I was teaching in St. Thomas USVI in 1994, I started getting these mysterious fevers.

It would start with my fingers, toes, and nose becoming ice cold (so much so that my nails would turn blue) as my fever would climb to dangerous levels. I would have such serious chills I couldn't do anything, and sometimes all the shaking made me lose my lunch.

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen would bring the fever down and then I'd be right as rain for a few weeks, a month or two, then the same thing would happen.

This has been happening to me five or six times a year ever since, most recently on my return from New Delhi India yesterday. Now, the fever breaks and comes back in an hour or two which is something new.

My question is this: is it possible I picked up something in St. Thomas that I've never completely shaken - some kind of chronic tropical disease?

I'm going to the doctor this afternoon, but would like some non GP opinions.

I am experiencing the following symptoms:
*Pressure in temples and across forehead and back of eyes
*Dizziness/Feeling like i am going to overbalance sometimes
*Slight nausea (never actually been sick)
*Heavy head
*Tingling sensation in head/face/hands/feet on both sides on occasions
*sometimes feel disorientated
*Periods offeeling tired, when i cant seem to stop yawning

My functions are fine, i can see, hear speak and move perfectly.

I used to suffer anxiety attacks and chest pain/palpatations which i was perscribed beta blockers for, these stopped the anxiety and chest pain. I have had ECG's and numerous blood tests all have come back ok, apart from what my DR says is a border line underactive thyroid which he thinks will have gone back to normal when i have my next blood test in a few weeks. He seems to think its anxiety based and has referred me to a shrink, but i think anxiety is an easy diagnosis and an easy way out for him, im not convinced. Any ideas?

I just recieved my Stress Echo results..... as cardiologist are running a month to be seen I was curious as to what this means:

Cardiac Valves: There was physiologic tricuspid incompetence with indirect pulmonary artery pressure in the region of 38mm/Hg.

I am currently on beta-blockers for sinus tachycardia.... have had abnormal EKG with electricle ST depressions noted.

Cheers!

what are some good ways one can get rid of a blocked nose?

2007-08-22 01:12:40 · 5 answers · asked by Anonymous in Allergies

because her carotid artery is clogged and they don't want to roto rooter her or put a stent in because she's 90. She thinks she won't make it out of the hospital. Other than that, she's in good health. Any info would be greatly appeciated here.
