because her carotid artery is clogged and they don't want to roto rooter her or put a stent in because she's 90. She thinks she won't make it out of the hospital. Other than that, she's in good health. Any info would be greatly appeciated here.

If she is in good health as you say I would question why they wouldn't do a surgery! It is not a terribly difficult surgery to do. Your body has 2 carotid arteries therefore you never actually stop the blood to the brain, when you do them one at a time. I would say blood thinners are just going to cause more problems. You can only make your blood so thing, do you know what percent is occlueded? I think she could make it out of the hospital okay, the only thing is that she is going to have a stroke eventually which will be terrible.

Well, if you get her to drink a cup of pure warm water with a quarter of a teaspoon of the hottest cayenne (chili) powder you can find in it from an herb store, over the course of about 5 days her blood will begin to thin naturally. Doctors will tell you that it has never been proven that cayenne will help you. But, I say tell that to the millions of people who have been using it for health reasons for the last 20,000 years. I hate doctors. Why, because if it isn't approved by the drug dealing American Medical Association or the pharmaceutical companies it doesn't work. Meaning they(the doctors) are not getting monetary kickbacks for proscribing something that will actually help people. In my opinion, it is never too late to begin healing yourself, it is only too late if you never start. Your Grandma is old enough to remember when Drs. made house calls and made up packets of herbs to heal you. If she agrees, you should try this. Also, I have not been sick with anything, not even a cold or flu in ten years because of one site on the web I buy products from and you might want to try it. the blood thinners are to make sure the blood is thin enough to go around the blockage, but, the problem with blood thinners is if she cuts herself or bumps her self she could bleed out a lot so get her an ID bracle that lists all the Heart Meds she takes.

Blood thiners are good provided she doesnt take at empty stomch. some time they cause internal bleeding in stomch, also she must avoid beans and other stuff which is hard to digest. Have the doctors given her SK injection? that is clot buster little expensive though. Usully given once?
