Dark chocolate is supposed to be very good for you, however, chocolate does have caffeine in it, which can be restricted in heart patients.
Maybe cut back to a piece a day. that way, you can have it everyday and not feel deprived.

Chocolate is enjoyable, and it is important to do things that are enjoyable--it will enhance your recovery. Within Limits!!
Best thing is to talk with your doctor. There is something called a "cardiac diet." A dietitian or nutritionist is best to teach you about that.
If you have had a mild heart attack, you should take that as your body's warning. You need to make some changes in your life. Diet will likely be one of them.
Of course you can continue your chocolates--that choice is always yours. But it is important to understand the consequences. It may be that continuing your chocolates lessens your probability for a speedy recovery.
Ask the doctor and/or nutritionist.

I'm a Cardiovascular Technician with heart problems myself. What the doctors I work for and my doctor told me, is no, I don't have to give up my chocolate as long as I stick to candy bars that are plain chocolate. Chocolate is fat free, the caffeine amount is minimal especially if you cut out other forms of it, and it is a natural mood enhancer so it is very helpful in fighting depression which occasionally goes with heart problems! I eat plain Hershey bars for my chocolate fix.
Of course, I'm not sure if they told me this because it's true or because they've had to work with me when I haven't had my daily chocolate fix!
If you really are unsure - ASK YOUR CARDIOLOGIST!!!
GOOD LUCK AND TAKE CARE!

No. Unless the chocolate it high in sodium. I've never heard of people having heart complications from eating chocolate unless they are obese.
