she would rather die than lose her hair? get real!! death is permanent, the hair will grow back.
But should she choose to die, she can expect increasing pain, weakness, and lethargy. Ovarian cancer is very rapid spreading and will attack all vital organs. How long she lasts is impossible to predict, but most never make it past a year without treatment. It is truly a horrible way to die.

So her vanity may kill her where the cancer doesn't have to with early treatment. How stupid - and selfish, what about the people who love her? Hair grows back after the chemo stops.

Ovarian cancer is a fast spreader. I hope she hasn't had it long, and that someone can convince her to get treatment. She can always have fun with wigs until her hair grows back -if she even loses enough to bother with a wig. My grandpa went through 3 rounds of chemo for leukemia and never lost a hair on his head.

Everyone is different. Usually people are only given 6 months to a year when cancer starts to spread. Could be less or more time depending on the person and disease. There is no rule when it comes to this. When it spreads your organs will slowly start to shut down. You will get increasily worse pain that will be unbearable without strong medications like morphine and even that doesn't seem to help when it comes to dying. You will find yourself without appetite and vomitting and weight loss. Believe me if I told you all the symptoms of dying it would not be pleasant. You are better off losing your hair than going thru this. When you die everything starts going wrong in your bodily functions.

Even with a melanoma analysis, we will all nonetheless undergo from different stipulations. Maybe it's the melanoma spreading, might be it's yet another situation and simply coincidental. Hopefully your Dr can set your brain at relaxation.

You may not lose your hair with ovarian cancer. Hair loss is more common with breast cancer treatment because the radiation is closer to your head. Ovarian cancer patients don't always lose their hair. That's a sorry reason not to get treatment.

One big symptom of not getting treatment is DEATH.
